I wanted to hear more thoughts from women who actually don't accuse Amber for being"a faker". I don't want to tip toe around it or argue with people over same thing over and over while they pretend they are unbiased when in fact they just support Depp.

A lot has already been said and I know you need to have diverse opinions for better conversation etc but on the other thread I am, I'm so tired of people victim blaming and chewing over stuff with little substance so I wanted to make a separate one where we can follow the rest of the trial and outcome with our comments and observations(without constantly arguing about feminist basics).

My last thought was that AH witnesses have been consistent so far and have been wondering if they pulled away from her because they didn't want the drama surrounding it(instead of actually finding her guilty, like Depp fans are suggesting).

I'm following it over Sky over ones with commentary(every day around 1-2 afternoon UK time, 9 in the morning US time I believe..trial ends next week, think someone said 27th)

All observations welcome. What stood out to you so far?

@inkworks273 do you mean the photos which it would seem were edited many times over, which her witnesses testified as being true representations of her injuries in support of her claims? The same injuries many other witnesses testified not having seen any evidence of?

Editing photos and having them published in tabloids and on social media purporting to be a victim of DV is abusive.

There’s no proof those images were edited. The judge wouldn’t have allowed them into evidence if they were.

I’ve never been more convinced that Johnny Depp is a lying liar who lies. He got annihilated on the stand today. It was satisfying to watch him squirm and stutter while he tried to work out how to dodge answering questions so as not to incriminate himself. I just hope the jury can see through this farce.

@inkworks273 I disagree, they were allowed them because they are relevant evidence. The judge cannot exclude evidence on the basis it incriminates one of the parties!!! The metadata was redacted when they were previously presented as evidence at the request of Amber Heard's team. Now we know why.

Just looking at him makes me squeamish. His bloated, drug ravaged face, his smirk. The man is a raging narcissist. 🤮

@Pinkyxx Can you show me the proof that the photos were edited? All I seen was a guy waffling on the stand saying he couldn’t prove one way or another if they were edited?

@BoDerek He really is and his lawyers have taken full advantage of that fact and are squeezing him for as much money as they can.

It’s so funny watching them putting on a show for the cameras pretending to be buddies, smirking, laughing and eating their sweets. The whole thing is 100% intentional and all the JD apologists who barely have a brain cell between them are lapping it up. Those lawyers know JD is guilty and they also know that his stans are idiots and they’re taking full advantage of that fact.

I'm not really a Johnny fan, I haven't seen him in anything except Pirates. But it is abundantly clear that Amber is lying out of her arse.

Yeah. The testimony about the phone was bad. Strangely noone jumping up and down on the pro depp threads about him perjuring himself

"Heard's attorney Benjamin Rottenborn questioned Depp on his earlier Wednesday testimony on his alleged fight with Heard in March 2015 in Australia, comparing it against his testimony in the United Kingdom libel trial.

Earlier in the day, Depp was shown a picture of the residence in Australia and asked whether there was a wall-mounted phone. He denied there being a wall-mounted phone there.

When asked again about it by Rottenborn, Depp repeated that he didn't recall a phone.

Rottenborn then read testimony from Depp during the libel litigation he filed in the U.K. against British tabloid The Sun for calling him a "wife beater."

You could see JD becoming passive aggressive after AH lawyer reading his degrading text about”global humiliation”out loud. After that his behaviour changed, he started justifying and normalising what he wrote by trying to equate himself to anyone else who’s angry, as if we all write rapist stuff when we are in disbelief or feel betrayed. Then he started to try making himself look more moral by going to”what would my family think if they saw horrible things AH accused me of”. You literally wrote about her being a cum bucket and other things I don’t want to write again and you are worried about what she might say? Like I can’t wrap my head around how fucked up this all is

Feel free to listen to the testimony in the same way I did. The expert stated:

• no one could validate the images - i.e. state they were authentic.
• he outlined the changes to the photo size, type etc (hopefully you will agree this is an edit)
• He pointed to the evidence of editing software on the metadata
• the editing evident could not be performed on an iphone, it required upload to a computer.

I can't ignore the evidence presented that these photos show that photo editing technology was used on them. Obviously you're welcome to dismiss the evidence if you see fit to do so.

Neumeister testified that he was not offering an opinion as to whether the photos were intentionally altered. He told the court that he examined EXIF data, which stands for exchangeable image file.

He didn't say they were edited. He said they'd been put in a photos application.

I am in disbelief-he sat there stone cold after message where he describes AH the way I mentioned above and then says that the next two messages(about I want I need I take BS and something about mackerel shit)are”grotesque”and that someone must have”borrowed his phone and wrote it”. This is not real.

They showed a couple pictures with clear edits where Amber's team had submitted two versions of the same photo into evidence. They were clearly edited!

If the photos were changed in any way, it was primarily because they were saved over and over on different devices(I assumed because she would backup itunes on different phones knowing JD was breaking them and later also sending it to lawyers as evidence or maybe just to her laptop etc)-he said at the end that usually they have the phone itself from which they extract the data they are looking at. By sending a file or pic or whatever you automatically change it in some way therefore he says he doesn’t have original info and can’t say if it was edited intentionally or not. Also I might be remembering wrong but when I did my amateur photography when younger or generally just moved pic from phone to computer, the colours would be different(well, most likely different screen/display but possibly reformatting, would depend). And lastly, when I’d take pictures to document my acne, I would try to edit it by making the pic brighter because I thought the way camera caught it didn’t reflect real life situation. To me, all those pics mostly look brighter or less red. They do not really look worse or dramatically different. This was an expensive waste of time

Yeah, not sure what they're getting at with the photos, one looks like it has a higher saturation on it than the other, that's all, she's still bruised in both. JD was squirming today when asked about his disgusting texts and whether he tried to get Amber fired. His micro-expressions were interesting too, a lot of smirking when saying that the accusations were not true and looking away and guilty. He's surrounded by yes men and has been almost his entire adulthood, he is used to getting exactly what he wants all the time with no consequences for his actions and his PR machine and handlers clearing up his messes and covering up for him. The fact that Amber has unveiled him has clearly filled him with rage and he has to have the last word, but whilst I do think he abused her she also appears to be very manipulative. I think they're both pigs really and whilst no-one deserves to be abused they deserve the world to see them for what they really are. Unfortunately people aren't taking the lessons from this that they should and instead are pouring hate onto the woman whilst the man get adored for acting like a common garden drunk, druggy, narcissistic arsehole.

I was actually expecting more of them with this whole”expert on photo verification”stuff or whatever they put him as. It was just to make jury doubtful about validity of photos-as he said he can’t know either way if pictures have been tampered with but given that multiple people saw those bruises on pics, it’s clear that they were made brighter in worst case scenario.

I am more confused about TMZ stuff-they said it didn’t have to be Amber Heard herself who gave these tips to them but someone on her behalf(or in some cases TMZ guy claimed it came from AH directly). As juror I would like it clarified who and why gave tips on each of those occasions

Listened to the police officer that was there during incident with AH&ex. She mentioned that Tasya was 2-3inches taller so she didn’t think she felt threatened by AH by looks of it, as well as her being composed while AH was visibly drunk to some extent. I also didn’t know that Tasya is 10 years her senior(and she made an oracle deck, sold on Amazon…I just noticed it was”National Tarot day”yesterday by YTs logo lol had no idea it’s a thing). Anyway I don’t think they can make it look like AH was abusive to her, especially since they are still in good relations today(which is weird for any ex let alone someone who you supposedly abused-at least when the tie is broken it’s easier to see the abuse for what it was, unlikely they would be on good terms)

Also…well I’m basically writing to myself now but I just realised the TMZ guy gave some sort of revenge vibes. He said something like”at the time we got the video of Johnny in kitchen, it was clipped and didn’t have Amber hiding the camera or her’sniggering’while walking away”…did he decided to go JusticeforJohnny all the sudden or something? And I found it funny that if you asked me what a guy that works at TMZ would look like, I’d basically imagine someone just like him. Real class right there

But in all seriousness he just complicated rather than clarified anything so I’m not sure why he wanted to testify. Maybe hopes for a pat on the back from Johnny

I dont know how anyone who believes a proven liar can continue to say that with a straight face.
