Yes. And when all the men have learned to behave properly around transwomen & NBs...

... they can still stay out of women's toilets, for our privacy & dignity.

Plus in schools boys can stay out of the girls loos. I'd say the boys should be mixed gender, but even this should be taken with precaution as children need safeguarding.

Of course they have I'm not sure I understand vyour confusion. Do you think someone with a female appearance would go into the men's?

I wear trousers most of the time, but doubt my male colleagues would like me in their facilities. I'm a woman regardless of clothing.

Mixed gender but not mixed sex. Many boys (especially teens) do not wish to share the male toilets with females either.

@Dinosauria good point, if I think about it my 12 year old DS would not be happy sharing with girls. It shows yet again that sex matters and single sex facilities are needed in schools.

If a TW came into a female only changing room and took their clothes off we’d know. And they’d be shown the door sharpish. It’s a myth that this has been going on for years and no one noticed.

Some women have penises, get over it bigot. If you don't like it you don't have to use it.

Is what would happen these days. It's what the whole 'Trans women are Women' mantra is all about.

Gosh this is so frightening isnt it.

Women no longer have the right to complain about penises in their changing rooms.

Or penises in their rape crisis centres.

Or penises in their hospital bays.

I don’t think anyone would show them the door. There’s one at my local gym who changes in the common area despite there being several little cubicle changing areas. Sometimes there isn’t a cubicle available but often there is. Most people don’t change for swimming in the common area, they use it more for changing shoes/clothes, not getting fully naked. But I don’t go to that gym now, which is not great because the one now I go to has no pool.

@Kanaloa, so you have an intact male person changing in the women's communal areas in your local gym, getting fully naked, and there's nothing any woman can do except go somewhere else and hope it doesn't happen there? So you now cannot use your local pool unless you consent to naked males changing in your communal area with you?

No one has ever measured or counted the female people who dropped their eyes and tactfully, politely, got the fuck out of Dodge.

There are many of us. Many.

But we're only female, so no one cares.

However please note the repeating of 'females have no rights under the EqAct2010; and the whole smothering of all other protected characteristics beneath one ,while at the same time the determination to get these apparently useless exceptions out of the EqAct.

Females need to start shouting about inclusion that excludes, and which always means prioritising male over female. If inclusion matters, then everyone is entitled to an accessible space. It can't just matter for people with penises.

Lia Thomas's teammates have reported the same. So they can't participate in college sports, can't keep their scholarships, and may lose their college places - if they won't consent to penis in communal changing area.

Headteacher at DS school told me if a child wasn't happy changing with opposite sex present, they could go to a separate private room. I think headteacher is hoping it won't happen or that girls can be bullied into compliance because there is 1 small separate room, potentially 29 girls changing and one tg.
When I mentioned to a fellow parent that this was the policy, she didn't believe me. It's not that everyone thinks TWAW and it's fine, it's "yeah tolerant blah blah - they wouldn't actually expect my daughter to change next to a male child though, that would be crazy"

It's almost as if some people regard some social conventions as an immersive fiction and are startled to learn that the immersive fiction will be manifest in a material reality right next to themselves or their family members…

Single sex. Gender is a feeling. Some people don't even have one. The poster is making the point that people of any gender can use the correct toilet for their sex. Nobody is left without facilities.

Quite.

If there's no issues here then TW can use the facilities for their sex.

If feelings, dignity, privacy, safety matter, then they matter for all, not just the male sex.

And we're not leaving some female people with nothing so that male people can have their preferred choice of everything. Because obviously to think that was ok you'd have to have a screw loose.

Yeah I just go to the other gym now. Which has actually worked out better as it’s cheaper and closer to kids school so can’t complain really. But yeah, intact. But dressed in women sports clothes/costume. I did mention it but the worker said there are private cubicles I could use which I can’t argue with because there are, just there are only a few. Also if I take dds swimming there in the holidays I don’t want them seeing that in the changing area. Especially not dd6 as she’s not the most sensitive type.
