Also it's bad advice as it will make trans people look kind of ridiculous if they follow this guide.

The depressing thing (well, one of them) about the FTM article was that a lot of the girls and women will already be doing a lot of those things - short hair, baggy masculine clothes, not wearing makeup, not plucking their eyebrows… and that will have made them feel like they couldn’t be female in the first place. They weren’t womaning properly so they must be men - easier to be a man than a woman who’s not good enough.
