Gay man 'bullied' off Manchester Pride for wearing LGB Alliance hat and t-shirt

LibDem activist delighted by this. Here are two of her tweets. The gay man who turned up in an LGB hat and t-shirt was allegedly advised by police to leave for his own safety and seems to have had the hat stolen.

Another young fool tweeted that 'bullying the guy in the LGB Alliance shirt who came to the protest march is my favourit part of Pride so far xx'. He has since deleted this (possibly because he is now sober and/or has seen how many people had reported this to his employers) and now claims he was just chanting 'Trans lives matter!'. 'Bullying' is an odd choice of words for this. How could anyone think admitting publicly to 'bullying' was a good look?

The LGB Alliance man has been advised that people shouting at him is actually assault if he wants to take it further. Doesn't sound like he does, though.

Says it all. Gender ideology is an opportunity to feel bigger, better and purer than others. Admonish the sinners!

Maybe it will make more gay men wake up and take a stand. Pride is now just another trans celebration.

This is why I don't feel comfortable or welcome at Pride or LGBT spaces anymore. Even hiding my GC beliefs, I know I'm not welcome.

I'm a lesbian in my sixties. I used to be honoured along with all other older Fay and lesbian people. Not any more. Pride is nothing to do with same sex attraction now.

I know this isn't fully related to the post, but it is an interesting read on the shutting down of freedom. Capture and orthodoxy of the institutions in France could only be refuted by British US Canada etc, the French academia were totally captured.

It makes me wonder, who is going now to take on the US, Canada & The UK, to show the absurdity of our new ideologues. The article perhaps deserves it's own thread but the shut down of debate and twisting truth, is rampant and takes no prisoners. If a gay man can be hounded out of Pride and they can't see what's wrong, then this is a real crisis.

The awful thing is that if you follow up on her bio via the libdems it looks as though she had a tough childhood, has done really well, and is very interested in and does a lot of work for some very good causes. The type of woman we should all admire and support.

It's such a pity that so many of these youngsters are putting their energy into supporting the T that it blinds them to the consequences for the LGB and for women

The comments were quite revealing though. Awful bullying like this will peak a lot of people . Sad that it has to come to this of course. Will she look back one day and cringe? We all do daft things in the flush of youth.

People are seeing this for what it is, intolerance and authoritarianism, and that's heartening. As a result they've made their account private. I'd like to think that that was because of shame but it won't be.

Pride hasnt been for us for a long time. Let the id obsessed and corporations have it. It was once something scary and radical, now its about being seen and getting your company logo up.

Isn't it strange how all the usual vocal posters never appear on these threads, they either have to defend the indefensible (outright bullying) or they have to start applying critical thought (and that is not allowed)

That video is chilling. The same tactics as seen in the videos of all the idiots in that Wi Spa incident threatening women protesting about a man exposing his penis in front of a little girl.
