Some of the demands sound kind of sensible, e.g. making it illegal to perform elective “corrective” surgeries on Intersex minors.
Shame about It is vital that transgender, non-binary and gender diverse minors are explicitly confirmed to have the right to Gillick competency, to access gender therapy and medical treatment without the requirement of parental consent.

And all the rest…

I imagine that Johnson will listen. He's well known for prioritising the opinions of penis owners over women. It's only his absolute incompetence that means we're not already living in some kind of dystopian anti woman society. He'd sell woman down the river in a heartbeat if it didn't require all that pesky paperwork.
Just got to hope his laziness is greater than his lack of ethics.

Strange they just added a load of non trans issues on at the end about racism, disability and autism.
A few items from the list:
Call for LGB alliance to have its charity status undone
Calls for sacking if Liz Truss.
Calls for Stonewall to be in all places throughout government, police etc.
Calls for children to change their bodies without parental consent.
Calls for self ID that was promised by a previous PM.
Calls for the right to be in sex segregated space of their choice.
Calls for more gender neutral (aka mixed sex) spaces.

Mixing together issues that are completely unrelated - or only related because they conflict with each other - so that if you object to something specific they can claim you're objecting to everything and are therefore xyzphobic. Forced teaming.

Peter Tatchell was there, inevitably. No sign of OJ as far as I can see - too busy writing incoherant rants I suppose.

Is it true they used to force male prisoners to dress like the slut-creature as a punishment? And now they're doing it by choice, in public.

Also IMO. If an older child - teenager age who was born with a DSD wants surgery then the child family and doc should talk it through carefully.

For a child secondary age to want to have surgery to alter the look of their genitals, and to a level that is not major. Then that's totally reasonable imo. These children still get changed, may want to play team sports with all the communal changing. Their feelings about looking different could have a big impact on confidence and self esteem. And then there's dating.

And the people to comment on all of this are the DSD orgs. It has nothing to do with trans. It's pure appropriation.

Well I don't think this is the thread to discuss it but happy to do so on a different thread if you would like.

I've just looked at their Twitter feed. The amount of young women posted their support makes me weep.

Although I do feel desperately sorry for anyone who dresses like that and has a slut badge. I can imagine there wouldn't be a happy back story to their life.

Demanding legal documents as and when is laughable.

I read that a lot of LGB ppl have turned away from Stonewall due to Trans ideology.

And the throw in at the end about racism, care of the elderly and not for resus forms for ppl with autism???
