Re. above - women's bodies are so amazingly complex!

We can build and feed another human being just with our bodies!!

Helleofabore · 16/03/2021 15:04

Besides, isn't the GC theory that trans girls are just gay boys and puberty blockers make you unable to have sex? In which case, there's nothing to worry about is there?

Did you really mean to say this? Really?

Think through the implications of what you are saying here. And think through safeguarding standards. And think through just how that plays out at all levels in the future for all ages.

Can you honestly see no issue with this?

PurpleHoodie · 16/03/2021 15:04

And this thread for about about girls and teens public spaces.

NiceGerbil · 16/03/2021 15:06

'just' gay boys?

What awful phrasing.

Is that related to the oppression Olympics stuff?

And this thread inspired by a 16 year old teen boy who sparked a whole movement.

Deliriumoftheendless · 16/03/2021 15:08

Why exactly can’t a socially transitioned trans girl, one who has not taken hormones as is exactly their right, get changed with boys?

Spell it out please.

lunar1 · 16/03/2021 15:08

Why are these threads being allowed? I would bet my house that if I posted the same thing again and again I'd end up banned.

Scottish women leading the way for teenagers in Scotland.

Helleofabore · 16/03/2021 15:11

Here, don't take my word for it - here is Katy Montgomerie, a prominent trans activist writing an article in which the very first line is "sex is real"

This activist who is known for their part in sexually harassing women on twitter?

And you tell us to get out of our ‘echo chamber’.

Who else are you going to post?

I might suggest looking quite deeply into those you seek to use in your appeals to authority. We have posted some quotes by Julia Serrano that should have caused you some concern, yet didn’t seem to.

Now Montgomery.

Oh my goodness @Shizuku, Katie Montgomerie is an unbeliever! Katie believes in genital preferences! Tsk

Sinister, isn't it?
DodoPatrol · 16/03/2021 15:18

ever since JKRs little tirade

Ah.

You think that her careful description of her own experiences was 'a tirade'.

You really don't hear women and girls, or think they are important.

Timestablesaretables

This was apparently a hot topic not so long ago on the twitterverse.

TwoBreakingIntoOne · 16/03/2021 15:20

Most people agree there are situations where males and females should be separated for reasons of privacy, dignity and safety
If you then put a transgirl or woman into the female space you no longer have a single sex space. It's not ok for some females to agree to allow a male person in because they are nice or they are friends because it opens the door to other males and changes the space for other females
Their sexuality has nothing to do with any of this nor do stereotypes
We have single sex spaces or we don't

This is so sad, from another thread linked above - I feel so sorry for this girl/young woman who now has to find an alternative to sharing a changing room with males.

Thanks for all the thread links, I had not heard of Miss B’s challenge and where to donate but I found it by googling Miss B Hate Crime Challenge and she was top of the listings - thanks @PurpleHoodie

bluebluezoo · 16/03/2021 15:34

To bring the thread back on track slightly, I urge people to look up the story of Pat Smythe; the first woman to win an Olympic showjumping medal in the first games where they reluctantly allowed women to compete. Of course she should have just identified as a man in order to make the team!

I came across Pat’s biography in the library years ago. Utterly brilliant woman.

Male horses are generally gelded unless kept by experts. Half a ton of horse with the scent of a mare in his nostrils is impossible to manage, and very dangerous if not handled properly.

PurpleHoodie · 16/03/2021 15:35

That's ok Kitchen Daffodil
