If it passes we need a judicial review to show it breaches the ECHR - if it does then it is not law.

Only if the person attacking them thought they were a crossdresser... and not just a woman wearing trousers.

Mmmm. Might be a small flaw in this carefully considered bill perhaps.

I notice Ruth Davidson down the front in trousers and with short hair. Is she protected more than, say, Nicola Sturgeon in her heels and dresses, would be.

And if a man dresses as Barbie he is protected.

But if I naturally look a bit like Ken, am I protected because I am born looking a bit like a male doll. Or not, because I didn't choose this face but I look masculine.

The same people ones who voted for women to be excluded from the bill will vote for it to pass without amendment.

Funny they knew exactly what a woman was then though.

Apart from the very evident woman hating that lies at the heart of this bill, it's a staggeringly inept piece of legislation.

I guess that's the point. They don't actually care how inept it is. As long as it's sufficiently vague to catch women in its vicious, totalitarian net, they don't actually give a monkeys.

I can't believe the state of Scotland right now. So sorry to all Scottish women you must be gutted at the behaviour of the parliament.

So if a woman is assaulted/harassed etc and states 'I'm a crossdresser!' does that mean the perpetrator will potentially get a tougher sentence than if the victim was just an ordinary run-of-the-mill woman?

Gutted and disgusted. I voted for these bastards.

No. This is different and worse legislation - it creates crime out of words and thoughts, no assault necessary.

So who to vote for in May? I was going to spoil my ballot but might vote tactically against anyone who voted against protecting women.

2Rebecca final debate and vote on the bill to be rescheduled but don't know the date yet.

I need to calm down before May. I'm so angry I could vote tory through spite.

Yup. I've always been solidly for Scottish independence and the SNP. Now I'm wondering if it's such a good idea.

Diary - I know I'm so angry I don't trust myself not to scream at MSPs in the street, I live so near Holyrood and see them all the time.
