This is a harrowing read.
I feel immensely sorry for the child that was. However I feel more frightened for the women and children G might be incarcerated with.

I think that's right, XXSex. I was expecting her to dismiss the whole email.

Rose of Dawn has done a video on Barbie

Gottalife · 06/10/2020 21:29

Wow!

Cailleach1 · 06/10/2020 22:11

Rose of Dawn made one important error. The report doesn't state that any violence was carried out on Barbie by their mother in the Women's Refuge.

The staff in the Women's Refuge had significant concerns about the level of violence that had been perpetuated by Barbie upon her mother.

Cailleach1 · 06/10/2020 22:11

perpetrated by Barbie

Cailleach1 · 06/10/2020 22:22

This behaviour seems to have continued as

In 2012, after perpetrating a violent attack on her mother, Barbie was the subject of a care order and has remained in care ever since

NRatched · 06/10/2020 23:55

On the whole ridiculous 'person with a cervix' thing, I really do not see why the answer is not 'women, and people with a cervix' or 'women and transmen' or something. If its really not about removing the word woman from everywhere and is instead about being inclusive to 'those who have a cervix and do not identify as women'. I know thats not what this thread is about, but in reply to the reply from Jennifer Carroll MacNiece

Yes, I spotted that too and went back through the court document to make sure I hadn't misread/ misremembered.

Yeah I did notice that and thought it didn't make sense.

She has put a correction in the comments.
CoolYourBeansMySon · 07/10/2020 12:35

Does anyone know what has happened to Barbie since they have been out? I thought part of the concern was that they are of no fixed abode having been in care. I'm very concerned about the girls in the video above being taken advantage of.

SecondRow · 13/10/2020 09:08

Isn't today the day Barbie is due back in court?

CoolYourBeans, it was questioned whether he had in fact been released - a tweeter commented that no bail hearing had been listed that day so the assumption was that he was still remanded in Limerick Prison until we hear otherwise from official sources.

Oh great, so Barbie is back in with the women prisoners then? What is the further hearing today?

Amalfimamma · 13/10/2020 16:00

Continuing bail today. It's doubtful he was ever out tbf as there was only that one video

SecondRow · 13/10/2020 16:10

Thanks Amalfimamma

From that Limerick Leader article (and thanks to them for covering this)

Prosecuting sergeant Sean Moloney told the judge that gardai are awaiting directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions, and asked that the matter be revisited in four weeks.

Judge Larkin remanded the accused in custody at the women’s section of the Mulgrave Street prison, and to appear before Limerick District Court via video link on November 10.

Zeebeezee · 13/10/2020 21:19

TBH I would think he would be in more danger from the real women in Limerick Prison. He is probably in isolation anyway.

It might not be what he wants. Because he is a he.

NRatched · 13/10/2020 21:36

Unfortunately it is what Barbie wants

At a previous appearance of Limerick District Court on September 26, gardai had informed the court that Ms Kardashian was born a male but had identified as female, and was “very anxious she be detained in a prison facility for females, as she identifies as a female”.

Unsurprisingly.

Unless I missed the point of that post, which I think I might have.

What are you talking about? The vast majority of women in prison are there for non-violent offences and are an extremely vulnerable group of people. This person has sexually and violently assaulted several women and has a male body and male strength.

I wish people would understand this.

Get real here please. There are some very violent women, and women who have killed also.

My point was that Barbie is not going to have it easy. And there is no need to tell me about Barbie either, I know.

It is appalling having a man in a women's prison just because he says he is a woman.

That is the issue really. Address that before getting on my case!

Zeebeezee · 13/10/2020 21:53

Butterer,

Yes. The motive for infiltrating women's spaces is gone if he cannot mingle.

Prison staff know the score.

Amalfimamma · 13/10/2020 21:56

Now riddle me this.

Why is Tusla threatening legal action? Barbie is not their ward and is no longer a minor so what are they trying to hide (again)

gript.ie/barbie-kardashian-the-story-tusla-wants-to-keep-a-secret/

Zeebeezee · 13/10/2020 22:01

If he dresses and expresses himself to be a woman with male genitals, of course he wouldn't be safe in a male prison. But really who cares about that aspect. I don't.

I only care about vulnerable women exposed to this bullshit in a women's prison, or any space that can be infiltrated by these people.

I think that would be normal. Thinking of daughters, myself, my sisters female friends and so on. Ugh.
