They banned 2k subreddits but if you look at the stats the vast majority of the subs had a handful of people .I was surprised to see by their own statistics that 'gender critical' had more engagement and unique views than 'the Donald' which was a much bigger sub. The disparity is striking - the Donald were quarantined, frequently told off for inciting violence. The mods at gender critical report that they had never got into trouble with the Reddit higher ups. The sub was very good at sticking to the rules. To be honest, I only stuck around on Reddit for gender critical. Reddit is a very male dominated website (I think 90 percent plus of the user base are male), and it really shows...
