It was a mixed place. Some stuff on there I do think strayed into hating on men. But you know what - people ARGUED with it. Some of the discussions were brilliant, and it had an amazing international dimension that this place lacks - there were a lot of Americans, but also feminists from Asia and the Middle East and South America, who gave a really different perspective on everything. It was the first place I've been on the Internet that felt truly international like that.
