welcome back. I was posting on r/GC a few days ago though am not a regular, sad it's gone and the corner of the internet where women can speak freely is even smaller.

It was a brilliant source of information, articles and research. I don't understand how they have such disgusting rape subreddits and yet women are not allowed to discuss the encroaching of their rights, and what we are able to do about it.

I am gutted and furious and tbh surprised. I know I shouldn't be, but reddit houses discussions on rape and violence and all kinds of depraved shit and women discussing among themselves get banned?? It was a mixed place. Some stuff on there I do think strayed into hating on men. But you know what - people ARGUED with it. Some of the discussions were brilliant, and it had an amazing international dimension that this place lacks - there were a lot of Americans, but also feminists from Asia and the Middle East and South America, who gave a really different perspective on everything. It was the first place I've been on the Internet that felt truly international like that.

Fuck this shit. I'm so tired of this.

Localised gender critical subreddits are gone too.

Ahh shite. I rarely used it but it was a good space to have for lots of women to discuss GC stuff. So many members too.
