I didn't think it was possible for political discourse to get more divisive and extreme in a civilized society, but Frances Carmel Hoole, who apparently standing for election, tweeted a meme of herself threatening Joanna Cherry with a spray bottle of bleach and the term T*RF.

She has deleted it and is now complaining about the sound condemnation she is receiving on Twitter. I need to get a hammock for my face to help with the continual dropping of my jaw.

I’m not sure if it’s the same one - I guess it’s a cut and paste job from the wee kiddies / bring your kid to works department.

They think if they keep repeating it (as with TWAW) that it will be an infallible truth. Lots of people have swallowed the narrative but there's more and more people seeing sense. It's a tactic designed mainly to silence women who know sex is determined by biology.

To cap basic fact IMHO - we have representatives we delegate to parliament but they are not true delegates since they can act on their own volition. And practically we couldn't vote to inform every vote they take. We vote for MPs on their party's manifesto (even if they don't agree with that manifesto eg Cameron's promise of a referendum or even if they object to planning (HS2) in their constituency). Or now Brexit. We could indeed have little buttons on our phones (for those can use them) to vote every day but someone somewhere (as with postal votes, mobile downtime, snafu and outright rigging) would bugger it up.

Towntattle seems to be escalating again. (I will not call this person Cathy, it is an insult to the real Cathy Brennan.)

I hope there will be a strong police presence at the meeting on 20th November arranged by @JoanMcAlpine & @JennyMarra. This person, @TownTattle, is inciting physical protest. Bearing in mind their attack on @bindelj this threat should be taken very seriously
