I didn't think it was possible for political discourse to get more divisive and extreme in a civilized society, but Frances Carmel Hoole, who apparently standing for election, tweeted a meme of herself threatening Joanna Cherry with a spray bottle of bleach and the term T*RF.

She has deleted it and is now complaining about the sound condemnation she is receiving on Twitter. I need to get a hammock for my face to help with the continual dropping of my jaw.

Well, what an absolute shock to see Mr irc abusing "terfs" today is the very same person who abused trans people just a few short years ago Shock

It's not the first time. Just another abusive man.

Justhadathought · 03/11/2019 10:49

I bet she lives on twitter and only speaks to wokesters in RL. That kind of bubble would certainly lull you into thinking approving of threats against female MPs was just a bit of a larf

Twitter and Facebook......

I cannot believe she benefitted from a memorial fund to Jo Cox.

Is she completely without awareness and intellect, or shame?

Datun · 03/11/2019 10:55

For goodness sake, a parliamentary candidate sends a meme to Joanna Cherry, that she has copied from someone who is utterly insane and hates everyone.

This country is seriously being damaged by children.

Justhadathought · 03/11/2019 10:57

She’s a 22 year old numpty, Pthagonal smile Yes, she really is that naive! Totally unsuited as a candidate in grown up politics, but that goes without saying

Labour/Momentum are fielding ever younger candidates in local councils. These candidates have not got any clue, however, in anything other than following Momentum ideology. No real interest in, or awareness of what being a local councillor really involves on a day to basis. Don't respond to emails. live their lives on social media.

I want to, but cannot vote Labour again. Including in the up-coming election. Can't vote for the Liberals, either...so I think it will have to be more ballot spoiling.

Justhadathought · 03/11/2019 10:58

day to day basis

CaptainKirksSpikeyGhost · 03/11/2019 10:58

This country is seriously being damaged by children.

And actual children are being damaged by the country.

CaptainKirksSpikeyGhost · 03/11/2019 10:59

I think it will have to be more ballot spoiling

If you do this remember to state the reason.

GCAcademic · 03/11/2019 14:03

I suspect that is the actual point.

ScrimshawTheSecond · 03/11/2019 14:25

Oh. My optimism that the lad was just misguided was misplaced. How depressingly predictable.

MockersthefeMANist · 03/11/2019 14:42

Oh yes, we have a Momentum Midwich Cuckoo standing in my constituency. She has a Facebook page with selfies of herself skateboarding: "I wasn't interested in politics til I heard Jeremy Corbyn...."

Justhadathought · 03/11/2019 16:05

*I suspect that is the actual point8

Well, yes! But also Momentum wants to appeal to the young and get a new generation politically motivated. some of my young local Labour councillors are naive in the extreme, and i cannot bring myself to vote for them.

Gone are the days when being a local councillor was something you did when you were older, wiser and more experienced; as a way to give something back ti the community in the form of public service.

PeterRouseTheFleshofMankind · 03/11/2019 16:36

I will be very interested to see what happens in this constituency. Surely Labour aren't going to let her stand as a candidate now?!

BarbaraStrozzi · 03/11/2019 16:59

Out of interest Mockers which way is your seat likely to go? Has the skater dude (ette) been gifted a safe Labour seat, or given a chance to waste their time in a safe Tory seat, or is the Labour Party committing electoral suicide by putting said kid up in a key marginal?

ShesDressedInBlackAgain · 03/11/2019 19:09

Can you even campaign if you've locked your SM?!! How are you going to retweet Magic Grandad?

RuffleCrow · 03/11/2019 19:47

She has displayed a total lack of decency and critical thinking therefore is totally unfit for office

RuffleCrow · 03/11/2019 19:49

Not to mention that she's either completely unaware of the law or she thinks she's above it.

Tanith · 03/11/2019 21:25

So, he's not even a woke bro, just a nasty troll. Probably been stirring this stuff for years.
I wonder how many more trolls like him are fanning the flames.

Doesn't excuse the silly child from retweeting him, mind.

I think the reason we're seeing such poor candidates in elections is that so many people simply don't want to do it.
If we want to change it, we need to volunteer ourselves. However, it's a brave woman who puts herself in the firing line these days.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 04/11/2019 20:44

Has the silly wee girl been reprimanded?

However I have seen other ‘young labour’ types tweet awful stuff but not been reprimanded if you know what/why I mean 😉.

CarolCutrere · 04/11/2019 21:00

It used to be a safe Labour seat. It was Alastair Darling's seat with Conservatives being in second place. The demographic of the constituency make a significant part of it New Labour/Blairite territory. SNP took it in 2015 pushing Conservatives into 3rd place. In 2017 Conservatives were second again with just a 1000 votes in it and Labour third. It will be an SNP/Tory fight. I hope Cherry loses.

Italiangreyhound · 05/11/2019 00:56

I'm really not sure if I can ever vote for labour again! Sad

noodlenosefraggle · 05/11/2019 09:10

So many Labour candidates are 25 or younger and seem to be completely unsuitable, having concentrating from the Student Union to being parachuted into Labour seats. What happened to candidates who have experience? Quite a lot of them have been pulled up for racist, anti Americans racist social media postings but b they have lived in an echo chamber ever since, so have they really grown up?

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 05/11/2019 09:12

Corbyn does I’ve his student politics. He loves it so much he’s never evolved into politics of the real world.

ScrimshawTheSecond · 05/11/2019 09:33

The meme-maker has written a very long and inspiring blog post:

'I generally spend more time tackling the instances of transphobia that gay men are guilty of rather than tackling trans exclusionary radical feminism'

By this, I presume he means deleting his old abusive twitter posts.

Tory maj 5000 over Lab in 2017. Good sensible Tory MP who voted Remain and has campaigned consistently for a deal since. He's safe.

She's actullay about 35, just acts like a teenager:
