Person in women's shelter boasts about spirting erection, shelter supports 'her'

I posted this on the This Never Happens thread, but it's so horrible I think it deserves its own thread.

Canada of course.

Trans women posts about wandering around naked with an erection in a women's shelter(even providing the address of the shelter). They also appear to have mental health issues. Concerned women tweet the shelter. The shelter responds by asking people not to 'spread harmful mistruths' about trans people.

A women's shelter actually putting vulnerable women in danger. This is how far things have gone in Canada.

Transwomen should have their own special facilities. There are very few men's shelters, and they probably wouldn't want to go there anyway, and they don't belong in women's shelters. Perhaps the TRAs should focus on setting up their own places.

Low barrier indeed. You don’t even need to be a woman. But the knowing Tyler personally when Tyler is a resident and therefore this should be obvious, suggests there is more of a personal connection to Tyler than to women. I wonder who the ‘others’ are who are held to such low standards in ensuring the space is safe for women?

That would only be the case if you are seeking to protect women from male predators. This place invites them in.

In Canada, of all places, you could extremely easily secure funding for shelters for transwomen. Specialised shelters would be able to target services specifically to difficulties commonly experienced by transwomen, which share some aspects with women, but are also in crucial ways very different.

There is no need at all to put them in with women. The only reason for doing so, is that this is what loud AWAs demand. Probably driven in equal measure by misogyny (just wanting to demonstrate their power over women) and a desire for validation as women.

I have volunteered in a refuge before and that above is paramount. The shelter are joining in with his dangerous trolling of women by responding with an attempted 'these are not the droids you are looking for Jedi mind trick of 'mistruths'. Not only do they not give a toss about the protection of women, they clearly think they are all stupid too.
