Being told to imagine myself in someone else's body - to put their feelings in front of material reality is bizarre. I can imagine what it would be like to have a dick and balls but I can never know the reality of that existence - my imaginings, my feelings are not reality. Thus, this imagine another body scenario is a really moot argument as it is all conjecture and can't be proven or disproven.
Being told to put men in front of women, well, that's just our nemesis... good old patriarchy.
