This short film with Mhairi reading out (mostly respectful) comments from women is really sad. I have always admired her but like many politicians she is unable to comprehend the issues women are raising. She says there is no evidence or legitimacy in our concerns. Oh well.

MB is my mp, I emailed her last year asking her to attend the meeting about how the GRA would affect women's rights. I already knew her stance but shared my very personal story which I've only shared with 2 other people, because I feel so strongly about this, I tried so hard to get my point across and her reply, while expected was beyond disappointing. She states she "does not believe the furthering of trans rights infringes upon women’s rights"

My feeling was that she was speaking from being a person from a minority group that was historically not treated inclusively and that her thought process is incredibly flawed due to this. It astounds me that she cannot comprehend how dangerous and traumatising this can be for vulnerable women and that their rights should not be eroded. I often wonder how she would feel when confronted by a transwoman telling her she is homophopic/transphobic for not being attracted to their penis.

I feel its ignorant to ignore the women who have been imprisoned with people with a penis and say you can't make decisions re transpeople based on criminals and predators, tell that to the victims!

I feel so unrepresented and frustrated.

Point of information -Black is not "working class", though a major part of her schtick is pretending that she is.

That Ms Black isn't a sophisticated thinker is no new news to me.
I also don't think that having really young career politicians is a great thing in general.

That was utterly vile - the dismissive, sneering tone is that of a career politician and a young woke twat.

After hearing her sneering at women's legal right to single-sex spaces and calling women cunts, I think Parliamentary Standards needs to step in. She is not just unfit to represent 51% of her constituents but is actively promoting increasing the real risk of harm to them, harm that has been caused already.

She does pretend to be working class (both her parents are teachers). And by all accounts her attendance as an MP leaves a lot to be desired. AKA lazy. Her expenses are also sky high.

She’s backed herself into an ideological corner. Deep down she knows it is total crap but she’s addicted to looking virtuous so she won’t change.

Love to know how a 13 year old girl's supposed to differentiate between the adult stranger's penis at the bus stop (police matter) and the adult stranger's penis in the "women's" changing rooms (to hell with her discomfort, that one's a 'lady dick'). If she thinks that video will go down well with normal constituents (as opposed to the Ultrawoke), she is deluded. It's an own goal for the SNP because it plays into non-ideological voters' fears about them - that they put ideology before reality and lack a commitment to govern on behalf of the whole country.

Some people will vote SNP whatever they do, because their priority is independence. This video won't make any difference to them. But for less committed voters who could go either way, it's a huge turn off.

If I were her SNP colleagues, I'd be really pissed off. She comes across as a bit mad and disconnected from normal people, who do not believe that TWAW.
