He is just as bad as others involved in this story because he uses his position as a prominent writer at a major international newspaper to attempt to gaslight the whole world into thinking wanking yourself off at a children’s charity is acceptable. It doesn't matter if he is personally harmful to kids or not.

It doesn't matter that he's gay. It doesn't matter that he does kink in his private life.

It does matter that he does not understand appropriate workplace sexual boundaries and is employed by a child protection charity that views attention being drawn to the lack of appropriate workplace boundaries in its workplace as bullying.

This is child protection and safeguarding 101.

Children need boundaries. Child protection is about bolstering those boundaries. Child protection orgs must be staffed by adults who demonstrate an understanding of this.

The man should be fired. He should never be employed to work in this area again. NSPCC should undertake a root and branch review into their workplace culture and, if they won't do it. the Minister for Children should open an enquiry.
