Did anyone see it?
She was there to discuss the LGBT sandwich in M&S, however she began speaking about the erasure of lesbians at pride and ended by shouting out to viewers to google the cotton ceiling.
Worth a watch
Well done Sonia

Let's face it, nothing says human dignity and acceptance like being summed up in a gimmick food product.

I mean, Trans Activists are very keen on criticizing 'reducing things to biology', but reducing an enormous group of very different people to a sandwich is a mark of solidarity.

Ffs.

ErrolTheDragon

Yes. Although that's not the origin of my name, I too have found out that I'm actually a tooth cleaning twig.

Something that can be used to get the lettuce out of your teeth after an LGBT M&S sarnie.

Datun helping getting the L out, as it were.

Im slightly concerned that im the only one admitting to being lang

Its the weetabix isnt it

Dammit!!

FloralBunting · 07/05/2019 17:49

If me and Lang are both Cassandra, maybe she's a different bit of stretchy trampoline person?

(I'm totally aware that if no one here watches Doctor Who that sentence will make less sense than the WBH)

EmpressLesbianInChair · 07/05/2019 17:51

I watch Doctor Who and that sentence still doesn’t make sense!

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 07/05/2019 17:51

Also known as the incomparable Captain Jack...

EmpressLesbianInChair · 07/05/2019 17:54

The face of boe?

Her. Gotcha.

Maybe we need an I am Datun thread.

IrishGal21 · 07/05/2019 17:57

The comment section has some good ones

"They could have included the Q part of the acronym with the insertion of (Q)cumber." haha

BlackeyedGruesome · 07/05/2019 18:37

Did someone mention Weetabix and hot milk? Envy

Thanks for the link to the clip and that spine was impressive

BlackeyedGruesome · 07/05/2019 18:37

Spike.

Fucking autocorrect

Quietlife333 · 07/05/2019 18:39

Where’s the women’s sandwich??!

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 07/05/2019 18:40

Love me some captain jack

Unfortunately captain jack loves everyone but me

EmpressLesbianInChair · 07/05/2019 18:41

River Song. All the way.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 07/05/2019 18:42

I want to BE river song

I dont want to shag her

Datun · 07/05/2019 18:56

*River Song. All the way.

Absolutely. She's awesome.

All the 'hello sweetie's' and 'what time do you call this'.

I would, however, shag Matt Smith, without even asking DH if he can go on the list.

FloralBunting · 07/05/2019 19:06

I'm quite partial to River Song and Matt Smith but not at the same time.

(No, Cassandra wasn't The Face of Boe. She was the stretchy trampoline person voiced by Zoe Wanamaker. But actually there's a Greek myths Cassandra who was more relevant to this topic, and I'm just a really dull geek who should probably sidle off to fabric websites where I belong... along with stories about River Song and the Eleventh Doctor...)

FloralBunting · 07/05/2019 19:07

Fanfic not fabric. Completely different websites...

TinselAngel · 07/05/2019 19:08

Wasn't (lovely) John Barrowman supposed to have turned into the Face of Bo somehow?

Orchidoptic · 07/05/2019 19:13

It was nice to see a man being talked over.

Datun · 07/05/2019 19:15

John Barrowman was the face of bo.

Zoe Wanamaker as Cassandra was fantastic. But equally good when Billie Piper inhabited the stretchy skin queen.

The Greek Cassandra, I'm not familiar with, even though I hear her mentioned a lot.
Was she psychic or something. Or a predictor of men's behaviour or people's behaviour?
