Did anyone see it?
She was there to discuss the LGBT sandwich in M&S, however she began speaking about the erasure of lesbians at pride and ended by shouting out to viewers to google the cotton ceiling.
Worth a watch
Well done Sonia

Well that was an interesting segment from talk radio. Gay guy going "are you txxf"

Pro visibility of the sandwich but when the visibility means people say stuff then visibility becomes something completely different.

We can only view the emperor's new clothes, we must not speak of them. Are you a txxf, I'm stomping off in a huff then.

Do give it a listen, it's priceless.

FloralBunting · 07/05/2019 19:19

Cassandra was the woman who was given the gift of prophecy, but cursed with having no one ever believe her.

Tres fitting round these parts, think ye not?

EmpressLesbianInChair · 07/05/2019 19:20

Apollo (I think) cursed Cassandra to always prophesy the truth & never be believed.

FloralBunting · 07/05/2019 19:21

John Barrowmsn being the Face of Boe was one of the stupidest twists in Doctor Who, and I say that as a mega-fan.

Ereshkigal · 07/05/2019 19:22

Do give it a listen, it's priceless.

Will do so when I get in.

EmpressLesbianInChair · 07/05/2019 19:24

It was a bit of a stretch.

(I know Cassandra wasn’t the Face of Boe but that helped me remember who she actually was).

I would really really love to see River Song with the Thirteenth Doctor, but I don’t expect it to happen.

Ahhh. That makes perfect sense. The number of women who have said to me that they have a Casandra vibe about this, that and the other. And have been proven 100% correct.

RummidgeGeneral · 07/05/2019 19:36

Sonia. Respect!

Datun · 07/05/2019 19:37

The sapphic vibe with the lizard woman was probably as far as they are prepared to go.

EmpressLesbianInChair · 07/05/2019 19:41

They had Bill Potts.

MenuPlant · 07/05/2019 20:04

Bill potts
Lizard woman was married to her assistant
Captain Jack
Prob missed some
I think they've done ok!

MenuPlant · 07/05/2019 20:06

Captain Jack was face off boe as he was pretty much immortal which is horrifying really

Guess he died when the skin face exploded though but after being alive for far far too long

LangCleg · 07/05/2019 20:12

Im slightly concerned that im the only one admitting to being lang

LangCleg · 07/05/2019 20:13

Yes, but but but... what was that fabulous tweet from Shoeless Joe when Barrowman put on a TARDIS dress and all the TRAs got arsey?

FloralBunting · 07/05/2019 20:24

Do tell. Twitter gives me the irrits and I'm not familiar.

Only a sapphic vibe with the lizard woman? Madam Vastra and Jenny are my sci fi OTP. Flirty, unapologetically married, frankly I think they were brilliant.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 07/05/2019 20:25

(No, Cassandra wasn't The Face of Boe.

Yeah i know

One of you is cassandra and the other is the face of boe

Smile

The tongue scene? Fucking brilliant.

Datun · 07/05/2019 20:28

I've just been told who Bill Potts is. I didn't watch it that far!

FloralBunting · 07/05/2019 20:37

Bill Potts was disappointing, tbh. The episode with wet Heather was cool because her being a lesbian was part of the story. It just got really tiresome to have dialogue in every episode where she had to say "By the way, I like girls." (Sometimes that was almost the exact wording) I am all for representation, but most people don't wander round announcing which sex they fancy to practically everyone they meet. It was hamfisted.

Which one of us is a big face in a jar, and which is a small face on stretchy sheet, Rufus? Huh, huh?

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 07/05/2019 20:42

Errrmmmmmm

Oh my god there's elvis!!!!!

donquixotedelamancha · 07/05/2019 20:57

I've just been told who Bill Potts is.

Isn't he the answer to the question 'whose pigs are these?'.

(You can tell them by the spots.)

Deliriumoftheendless · 07/05/2019 21:03

Wasn’t Cassandra the last human?

(I just want to join the Doctor Who conversation.)

EmpressLesbianInChair · 07/05/2019 21:07

Yes she was!
