Reading the comments above I really disappointed that these views are held here in the uk
Yes I'm transgender ~ an struggled with life
I'd wished there was the help or support when I grew up
But alas no ~ it was children are seen but not heard
Lots of children grew up having issues that weren't addressed until later and for some they never had the chance.
I knew from an early age but I threw myself into life that I was expected to be part of
I was the macho alpha male royal marine who has seen service all over the world for this country an governments
To the point I had attempted suicide
Fast forward I've transistion
An all the happier for it
Unless you have physically and mentally been in that position or place in life you'll never fully understand
Yes I'm estranged from all my nearest an dearest
But to the outside world and to my face personally I have assimilated an go about my business,
Running a successful multi million pound company world wide dealing with governments and big business
Is it not better to allow children to express their identity sooner rather than later
And having to endure a life time of misery ?
In the end we are all individuals with one life to live
Bigoted, anti comments only do harm
Yes we need to talk ~ but respectively not the vile comments I see an read everyday in the MSM
Yes I'm a mother of two children whom I adopted with my husband and stepmother to four others , and a Aunt to 6 other children,
To the vile people In the world I am ”Not a real Mother ” ie woman
But I can safely assure you I know how to bring up a child that's loved regardless of sex or gender or race
Mum'snet can do a lot of good
But sadly it's not ~ keyboard warriors what ever their sex or gender are just bullies pushing their own motives and agenda
This isn't your choice
It's the children's and they have to be listened to
