And he did it with the most derogatory angry expression on his face.

I saw him mouth it.

VickyEadie · 19/12/2018 13:22

Watched it - there's no doubt he said it.

Stopwoofing · 19/12/2018 13:22

why are labour denying it? It just shows how bad their PR teams are these days - that clip CLEARLY shows him mouthing it - is it better because he didn't have the guts to say it into the microphone?

Stopwoofing · 19/12/2018 13:27

i can't believe those tweets from Heather Stewart - her credibility is at nil.

VickyEadie · 19/12/2018 13:28

Actually, I find the sight of that dullard sitting in the place where the Labour leader sits offends my soul. He is the reason I cannot vote Labour for the first time in my life (nor can I vote for any of the others).

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/12/2018 13:30

Dh was a lifelong labour voter, won’t vote for them now because of Corbyn.

mellongoose · 19/12/2018 13:31

He's doing a fantastic job of uniting the Conservative party. Utterly unacceptable behaviour by him and by the speaker of the house.

thatdamnwoman · 19/12/2018 13:32

I'm not a Conservative voter — and never will be — but as a woman watching another woman under attack for doing her job I'm utterly disgusted on a humane level by this.

I have never been able to support Corbyn. I was active in the Labour Party in the 1980s and my local branch was full of Corbyns plotting the overthrow of capitalism in back rooms while the women were expected to make tea. Misogynists, the lot of them.

WomanLifeIsGoodish · 19/12/2018 13:32

What? I don’t do twitter but are there really people trying to say he didn’t say “stupid woman”?

Fuck me, they really have no shame using gaslighting techniques in plain sight do they?

At least have the guts to admit it.

VickyEadie · 19/12/2018 13:34

i can't believe those tweets from Heather Stewart - her credibility is at nil.

Can you do a link to this?

mellongoose · 19/12/2018 13:34

@WomanLifeIsGoodish Jeremy Corbyn is denying it.

Usernumbers1234 · 19/12/2018 13:35

And now he’s denying it.

Not only does he thing women are stupid, it seems he thinks everyone else is....

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 19/12/2018 13:35

Apparently he said ‘stupid people’.

Allegedly.

VickyEadie · 19/12/2018 13:36

Jeremy Corbyn is denying it.

So: misogynist, homophobe, anti-semite, liar...

bellinisurge · 19/12/2018 13:37

I didn't see him say people. His lips didn't make a "p".
I thought we weren't allowed to call people we disagree with "stupid". I thought it triggered Leavers into digging their heels in.

BeefTomato · 19/12/2018 13:37

I'm no fan of May but it's disgusting that she's having to face horrible sexist comments at her place of work. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

ErrolTheDragon · 19/12/2018 13:37

Can you do a link to this?

Stewart's tweet is now showing in the guardian link I posted upthread

'Corbyn’s spokesman: “he did not call her a stupid woman, so I don’t think there are any grounds for an apology”. Says JC said “stupid people”.'

VickyEadie · 19/12/2018 13:38

Apparently he said ‘stupid people’.

No he bloody didn't! Pack of feckin' lies.

Tolaugh · 19/12/2018 13:38

Gaslighting sexist Corbyn.

ILuvBirdsEye · 19/12/2018 13:38

Life long labour voter here too... never have and never will vote for JC.
Silly man thinks we are non people - not just non men.

He makes it easier and easier to convince folks in my community not to vote for him.

AdamNichol · 19/12/2018 13:38

What? I don’t do twitter but are there really people trying to say he didn’t say “stupid woman”? Fuck me, they really have no shame using gaslighting techniques in plain sight do they?

It's not called gaslighting when a politician does it - it's called 'post truth world'. Isn't that fun. You can't get away with gaslighting when everything you do is recorded, you need another excuse. You misspoke, perhaps? Or were referring to a 'Cupid Bowman' perhaps?

DeloresJaneUmbridge · 19/12/2018 13:38

I don’t get it!

He’s an idiot and I don’t like the expression “stupid woman” however he isn’t the first one who has said this and plenty of people here have called him “stupid man”. Am I missing someing or is it one rule for one and another for someone else.

dadshere · 19/12/2018 13:39

So, it is misogynistic to refer to a woman as a woman is it? I certainly do not object to being called a woman, being called stupid is another matter. More faux outrage from the Corbyn haters.....

ABCagain · 19/12/2018 13:39

I’m not sure if he said Women or People after watching Sky, either way I cannot stand the Man.
