Seems a transman was asked to leave a male only sauna because he didn’t have a penis.

The sauna said they would have to approach the council to find out if their license would allow them to admit transmen.

That trans pride video was tragic. It's short, edited, has sound over the live recorded sound and they still managed to make the day look utterly shite.

I think that’s it really - transmen and transwomen are going to have to learn to copy with a massively reduced dating pool.

No amount of whining on twitter will change the fundamental fact that most people won’t fancy you as you can’t change people’s instead sexuality and no amount of invading their spaces will change that.

I don’t think your average 14/15/16 yr old is mature enough to realise that you can’t force people into fancying you. An amazing personality just isn’t enough.

Social media has trained people to believe that everyone has an amazing personality. Everyone is stunning, brave and special. Nobody can comprehend that people might not want them and might think they're boring, ugly or undesirable.

Everyone is a beautiful, rainbow coloured, glittery unicorn who scatters stars behind them everywhere they prance.

Apart from they're not, and the more narcissistic a person becomes, the more they hate themselves and hate others as well.

I couldn’t be with a trans person and I find women and men pleasing to look at. Never actually been with a woman and I don’t have a strong want to, but I can find them attractive and can appreciate their looks if they take my fancy. But a trans person? No, my mind will always be telling me that something isn’t quite right and I couldn’t get past it. Then there is the huge issue of being sterile. I want kids (I have two) and I want my own kids made with my own partner, if you fall for someone thinking you can have kids and then for whatever reason you can’t, that’s very different than getting with someone knowing you can never have children, yet funnily enough when I’ve mentioned wanting kids they just throw at you that not everyone is fertile. Which yeah, they are right but most only find out when they are trying and therefore make decisions on how to move on as loving partners, I don’t think many people would want to be with someone if kids was a big thing and they knew they couldn’t. In fact, there is never an issue with discrimination when it comes to sex, it’s one thing I believe that all discrimination is ok wether it be based on race, sex or even looks. Your vagina or penis is yours to control, no one else gets to tell you what to do with it. But trans people think they can (some not all).

Yes and no, I think. Transmen are only likely to pass because first assumptions are beard=male and many of them seem to have one. Also nobody really gives short unattractive men more than a passing glance. Whereas women (and also transwomen) are looked at more intently by everyone (ie not just the male gaze).
Of course people look most intently at those people they are considering bumping uglies with; this must be quite a shock if one has interpreted polite disinterest by strangers on the street as passing up until then.

I’m sure I read a twitter post linked on here where haddock said something along the lines of gay saunas are important part of gay culture and should remain male only. Yet he seems to contradict himself on those other tweets. Did I imagine that post or has it disappeared??
