Aimee Challenor welcomed into the Lib Dems

Just for quick context, Aimee Challenor resigned from the Lib Dems under a cloud of shit, after Aimee's father was charged for raping a 10-year-old-girl while dressed in a nappy, and Aimee continued to employ him as an agent.

So there is currently an investigation by Veritas into what happened, this has not been completed, but already welcomed with open arms into the Lib Dems.

Sickening.

Person who had police involved over hacking as a juvenile does what?

Even if they didn't do anything, that sets off so many alarm bells its untrue.

Especially when they are currently trying to join another political party after they quite a previous one after being suspended by them.

This is so ill advised its untrue. There is no awareness of why what they are doing is dodgy and is going to lead to questions. Aimee KNOWS they are under scrunity.

The lack of boundaries and understanding of boundaries and right and wrong at the most basic of levels blows my mind.

YOU JUST DON'T DO THAT!!!!

FekkoTheLawyer · 03/10/2018 18:04

Just read in the paper of a green supporter heckling and talking the piss of a councillor (I think - reading on the train) - to her face -over the suicide of her daughter.

Wacko lot aren't then?

OVAgroundWOMBlingfree · 03/10/2018 19:26

I am astounded at their recent tweet.

Sarah Champion retweeted GNCmaninpink’s tweet about Telford sex abuse scandal.

To which Aimee replied
“Sarah, I’m surprised to see you retweet a notable transphobe, I thought you were good on trans issues. :/
@ a bunch of labour accounts

Kyanite · 03/10/2018 19:38

I hope Sarah sees that for what it is!

welshbookworm · 03/10/2018 19:40

Well, it worked. That account has now been suspended!

RedToothBrush · 03/10/2018 19:50

Sarah Champion @SarahChampionMP
Girl raped by up to 70 Telford sex gang paedos saw ONE convicted

GNCmaninpink @GNCmaninpink
Telford is a nightmare with cover ups by both Labour and Tory led councils here. The police aren't interested and with sex clinics being shut down years ago these girls have no where to go. The rapists blatantly operate at a young girls refuge + curry house in St George's area.

Sarah Champion @SarahChampionMP
Horrendous! I’m just so glad @lucyallan keeps on raising the issue.

Aimee Challenor @AimeeChallenor
Sarah, I'm surprised to see you retweet a notable transphobe, I thought you were good on trans issues. :/ @lgbtlabour @Telfordlabour @RotherhamLabour

If there was a sex abuse scandal in Coventry, do you think that Aimee would be trying to get to the bottom of it or trying to cover it up.

The Lib Dems must be so pleased with their newest member.

Champion was refering to this article btw.

FermatsTheorem · 03/10/2018 19:54

Redtoothbrush Shock

What sort of an arsehole do you have to be to put a tweet like that on a thread about gang rape of a child?

FekkoTheLawyer · 03/10/2018 19:59

Me meme me miss - I know! I know!!

AC needs psychological support and I hope they get it. Seems to be a classic case of denial and only being able to focus on one issue. I hope the Lib Dem's are able to help rather than allow the madness to continue.

TwistedStitch · 04/10/2018 09:19

Have I read this wrong? Is AC advising on data protection? Wtf.

Have I read this wrong? Is AC advising on data protection? Wtf.

AC and DC had set up well-protected systems for some things. And, yes, I'd think for interesting reasons AC is well-placed to talk about privacy and IT security - especially with a history of a brief period with Anonymous (if the reports of what happened in re: the shopping centre are accurate).

IStandWithPosie · 04/10/2018 09:23

It would be useful to know which “orgs” those are. For self preservation.

arranfan · 04/10/2018 09:37

AC is still on Stonewall committees and umpteen similar LGBTQ+ panels. Possibly still a trustee for a number of similar charities, groups, organisations. Already, I think, in most or jockeying for the OU LGBTQ+ position where AC is/is about to be a student.

And, AC was thanked, personally, on Twitter by an Assistance Chief Constable for AC's address to a regional LGBQT+ Police group. So, I imagine those sorts of liaisons and associations are still in place.

I'm less certina about AC;s positions with youth groups of which AC was a leader/officer.

Spectator lead article by James Kirkup concludes:

"All raise serious issues of public policy, yet politicians are silent, fearful of questioning the trans-rights advocates and the consequences of their orthodoxy. Sometimes with good reason, too. Those MPs, mostly women, who have tried to debate this issue have been showered with online hatred. I’ve stopped counting the politicians, cabinet ministers among them, who tell me privately they worry about the trans agenda but won’t say so publicly

That silence troubles me. I am no social conservative, no culture warrior defending ‘traditional’ values. My interest here is fear of political failure, of what happens when sensible politicians fail to do their job by weighing evidence and reconciling conflicting interests. The failure leaves the trans debate dominated by shrill and aggressive groups intent on eliminating inconvenient evidence and dissenting views.

Failing to debate trans issues on the facts also creates the conditions for deliberate and harmful populism. Rows about trans people in bathrooms are a staple of America’s culture wars. The current vacuum of leadership on the issue means Britain could easily go the same way, if a politician on the make decided to make trouble. That would benefit no one, least of all transgender people, who deserve to live their lives with the same ordinary dignity as anyone else.

That’s not all that’s at stake. Trans-genderism is the perfect ideology for the on-demand internet age. It gives unquestioned primacy to ‘lived experience’, elevates emotion above evidence and convicts — after instant trial by social media — any scrutiny or doubt of that most heinous contemporary crime, intolerance. It chills debate and stifles critical thinking.

Should policies and laws be made on the basis of facts and evidence, or feelings and demands? You might not think so today, but the way our political system responds to the transgender rights movement will matter to everyone."

Ruddy hell, they're using the same photo filter as Stephanie Hayden!

FekkoTheLawyer · 07/10/2018 11:06

Loads of vaseline like an aging black and white star back in the day, or an app?

TwistedStitch · 07/10/2018 11:08

I find it completely bizarre that this individual is able to wield so much influence. They are poorly educated, uncharismatic, with an extremely questionable background. They have brought a shit load of grief to the Greens. The magic 'T' word at work again.

Rumbledore · 07/10/2018 11:17

I despair. Does the LD comes team have oversight of their social media presence?!

FekkoTheLawyer · 07/10/2018 11:20

They must be scared of their super powers. Maybe they self ID as a grand wizard or something.

RedToothBrush · 07/10/2018 17:50

Does the LD coms team have oversight of their social media presence?!

a) no they have no oversight because of the party structure.
b) LD President Sal Brinton supports the lgbt lds twitter account retweeting frequently anyway.
