Has anyone seen the mass email sent out this evening? They haven’t acknowledged any concerns put to them. All they have stated that there is no risk and they won’t inform parents of transgender members due to data protection laws.

my post at Fri 28-Sep-18 08:53:53 Version 2:

Interesting points being made online Twitter about relevent charity law :
"1. @ Girlguiding are NOT "Like any membership organisation", but a registered charity incorporated by Royal Charter. Their trustees cannot divert resources from the charity's beneficiaries (girls & young women) to [male children who identify as transgirls**] The @ EHRC should not be supporting unlawful actions"

  1. Would @ EHRC support the trustees of a UK charity established to educate / assist Irish people unilaterally deciding to divert resources to educate / assist Scottish people instead, or vice versa?
Does @ EHRC employ any legal professionals?

I think the tea boy operates the @ EHRC account. The Guide Association is a registered charity incorporated by Royal Charter, the beneficiaries are "girls and young women". Until the Privy Council decides otherwise they are obliged to keep the organisation single sex."
