Sorry it’s so tiny, I screenshotted it on my phone from Twitter! It’s a bit mealy mouthed...

I've commented on the mail article, I bet you £100 they don't post my (reasonable) comment...

BoreOfWhabylon · 27/08/2018 09:23

Go ahead and tweet it! I'm on Twitter but with a different name. Don't want anyone joining the dots as being openly GC would not go down well at work.

CesiraAndEnrico · 27/08/2018 09:25

Btw, while I can't say for certain that any Green Party official used terfblocker, I CAN tell you that - as a non-hetero GP member (at the time) - I was blocked by LGBT greens. Chinney reckon...

Amalfimamma · 27/08/2018 09:25

I commented on daily mail story last night.

Obviously hasn't been allowed

TerfsUp · 27/08/2018 09:26

What better way for a young, poorly educated person with no work experience, profession or degree, and a predilection for online kink to get ahead in politics, than to become the flavour du jour, a stunning and brave transwoman?

Perhaps The Guardian needs a new editor for its women's section.

BeyondRadicalisationPortal · 27/08/2018 09:27

I only corrected "dressed as a baby" to "dressed as a little girl", no inference made. We'll see, I guess, if it makes it through...

CesiraAndEnrico · 27/08/2018 09:27

Thread archived at page mid point.

I have to go deal with a laundry mountain, stop denying that my baby is leaving me in two days and make sure he has clean stuff to pack.

Can somebody please PDF as the page moves along.

CesiraAndEnrico · 27/08/2018 09:28

Perhaps The Guardian needs a new editor for its women's section.

Seconded

BoreOfWhabylon · 27/08/2018 09:31

Overnight comments often don't go up until later.

Beyond, that is v interesting. I wonder if you are also on Little Lily's blocklist?

Zeugma · 27/08/2018 09:33

I can see only 8 comments on the Mail article. The newest is from 9 hours ago. I refreshed it but that's still all there is. Haven't checked yet but the Times article yesterday had the comments removed pretty sharpish.

Hmmmmmmm.

By the way, hats off to all you superb lot on this and the other thread. I spent practically all of yesterday compulsively reading and updating in a state of utter shock. I genuinely cannot believe what's going on here. Except...tragically, I can, if that makes any sense.

Amalfimamma · 27/08/2018 09:55

@MNHQ

Any chance of reopening this now?

@MNHQ - seconding that question. Thank you.

LangCleg · 27/08/2018 10:08

Just popping in to thank everyone for the hard work in researching and the many excellent points made. Those of us who have had family visiting over the Bank Holiday weekend (me!) are most grateful.

Needmoresleep · 27/08/2018 10:18

Zeugma, not necessarily a plot. It could be that the Mail's legal staff will want, for obvious reasons, to see comments before they go on-line, and given it is a Bank Holiday, do not have a sense of urgency.

I suspect it is not a big story for Mail readers. Just another example of "what the world is coming to", involving a minority party and someone their readers have never heard of.

It will matter more for their editorial staff, as they will be well aware of injunctions, lobbying etc, in the same way as MN are. They seem quite determined to promote/protect free speech, even if their eventual employment of that right to free speech does not appeal to all. My guess is that the whole shutting down of alternative voices on Twitter is too complicated for their readership. However if there is any attempt to shut down the Mail's relatively anodyne and factual reporting, this will become the story, and they will have lots of material stored away. (And why they may want to be careful about comments so they don't give away any ground.)

JoanSummers · 27/08/2018 10:29

These tweets reveal that Aimee took an accused child rapist on a Pride March for the Greens, in an official role as the photographer, under a fake name. This is the same Aimee Challenor who pressured Pride organisers to resign for not kicking radical feminist lesbians out of London Pride.

CaitlynsCat · 27/08/2018 10:33

They might do, but the woke motherfuckers at the Green party are more concerned about 'TERFs' criticising the sainted Aimee than any truth coming about rapists paedophilea and those who support and protect them (which in this case certainly includes Aimee)

So they have protected their Tweets.

Go green go paedophile rapists.

Charliethefeminist · 27/08/2018 10:35

Need more sleep, I think your assessment is prob completely bang on, also Mail had training with All About Trans and afterwards AAT reported seeing an improvement cough in the Mail's coverage.

JoanSummers · 27/08/2018 10:35

I took screenshots, they're attached above. This surely has to be the end of Aimee Challenor politically?!

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 27/08/2018 10:36

Joan, I think that was the thread where one of them also went to argue that it wouldn't be fair to have checks on previous names as trans people couldn't be expected to give dead names.

Which is Shock

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 27/08/2018 10:38

Sorry, x post!
Thanks for screen shot!
