Gender Critical Greatest Hits

I am trying to compile a list of the key highlights of the gender debate, a ‘greatest hits’ if you will Grin of the most succinct and shocking things that have happened over the past few years. The sort of thing that would ‘peak’ people.

It’s for a (creative) project that I can’t say anything about just now.

If you could contribute anything I would be very grateful. The kind of things I have so far are:

Bomb threat against WPUK

Danielle Muscato taking a place in a woman’s shelter and tweeting “some women have penises. If you’re bothered by this you can suck my dick”

Shon Faye “enjoy your erasure”

Lily Madigan comparing race for life with apartheid. Looking for a more up to date Lily abomination but there are so many, any suggestions?

Kimberley Nixon suing Vancouver rape relief

What would you add to the greatest hits?

Also looking for a list of public figures who have ‘taken the pledge’ and said that transwomen are women eg Jeremy Corbyn

The posh boy on the stairs demanding to see Julie Bindels press card.
the other posh boy on the stairs saying 'you are free to go'.
And the third one shouting 'my pronouns are blah de blah YOU CUNT'.

Lily Madigan comparing race for life with apartheid.

Wait - what? Really? Have you got the original quotation?

It might be easier to find a list of public figures who haven't said that. Penny Mordaunt used it as the opening line of the consultation, Maria Miller is all over it, Diane Abbott said it on Radio 4. Many, many others have (most labour MPs say it in their responses to our letters).

Trans women are women

Any public figure who parrotted TWAW without thinking it through.

That photo of the Labour LGBT group (with the tweet announcing that transwomen could get on to all-women shortlists) which didn't contain a single natal-born woman.

I know sweary but for the project I need ones that have said so openly and in public (ie so it can be fact checked)

That’s a good one R0wantrees, thanks.

So - LM was pushing the "rights" of men to run in a women-only charity race (as someone points out on the thread, men are completely starved of opportunities to run in charity races, aren't they?) and compared RfL to "apartheid". Right...

FloriDada · 27/07/2018 11:53

There’s the children’s convenor in Dundee who called the lesbians that protested pride cunts, that’s a good one.

I’m keen to include Morgane ogre, what would you say best sums up that specimen of humanity?

FloriDada · 27/07/2018 11:53

Yeah Vicky, it’s pretty incredible

The twunt who announced that breast cancer is obviously much worse for a transwomen than a woman. I think that was SF, but one of the experts here will know the source?

ThinkIveFoundYourMarbles · 27/07/2018 11:59

Research into detransitioners being rejected by Bath Spa Uni (James Caspian).

The non-binary person who kicked up a fuss when refused entry to girls' changing room in Topshop (Travis Alabanza).

Poise Parker's interrogation.

BiologyIsReal · 27/07/2018 11:59

The four "women" who beat up a man in London recently, described by the police as women as that is how they identified themselves.

Ofew · 27/07/2018 12:00

Transwomen have periods too (see recent MN thread, still active).

CRUK - "people with cervixes".
