This has a similar ring to it, as the anti-trans protesters tried to co-opt the lesbian community, there has been a vocal backlash and clarification of support for trans people.

This Pride is one of very many instances of lesbians protesting against being sexually harassed by men identifying as women.

But I've actually had a little sob over all this, seeing clearly how people are manipulating things to press actual bona fide homophobia as a positive thing. As if the propagandizing one of my children and dismissing my experiences of male aggression and oppression aren't enough, they're now going to try and tell my lesbian daughter that she would be a bigot for not 'giving cock a chance'. I feel like I've stepped back in time to a darkened room with an evangelical prayer minister, and it's extremely upsetting when I thought I had left all that behind.
