I note that even the Trans Voices for Appeal group don't actually claim to have done anything at all in order to get the law changed. Just waited for someone else to do the hard work and then swoop in at the end to try to hijack it. And force an apology.
Now that laws will be changed, they are trying to put a stake in the ground. Ground they had no part in creating.
If the Together for Yes campaign had failed, then Trans Voices for Appeal would have demanded an apology and said that the campaign failed because it wasn't trans inclusive and the public voted no purely because transgender issues were not centred in the campaign.
Everything is always about trans whatever the outcome.
