One point of interest on that Twitter thread is that MNHQ have now put in place a policy of treating Twitter mentions as reports - so if a sleb on Twitter doesn't like what you've said about them, you're deleted.

Which explains why I got deleted the other day for saying something mildly critical of Peto.

Or maybe it was "enjoy ur erasure"? Anyway, it was a misogynistic comment saying that women should be "erased" and enjoy it.

But that's OK, isn't it. Complaining about rape crisis shelters and DV shelters admitting men, though = Nuremberg Rally and hate speech.

Is it just MN that TRAs are targeting? I've seen some awful actual transphobia on male dominated forums but never see criticism of them. Anyone would think this was about silencing women.

Why IS "enjoy your erasure" not hate speech? Or not regarded as such.

Is it because it's directed at an oppressed class of society, by an oppressor class? And advocating the "erasure" of the oppressed class? Because that, to me, seems like the very definition of hate speech.

Perhaps I'm missing something. I probably am.
