I pity anyone whose self-image is so fragile they need to trawl the internet -but only the corners occupied by women, obviously -to find examples of "misgendering." Dude, stop trying to inflict your beliefs on everyone else. The majority of us don't believe in gender as anything other than a damaging construct. I speak as someone a few years younger than Shon and who hasn't had kids.

She's not putting effort into reddit, piston heads and all those places to educate men about not abusing transwomen. She's here chasing pronouns.

In all seriousness though - it must be pretty dreadful to be so completely tied to your gendered identity. It's literally the only reason that Shon is invited anywhere, or given a platform. Without the trans thing, Shon wouldn't have a voice or a platform. It's pretty sucky. Her entire 'career' is based on being trans. She has a vested interest in keeping these ridiculous arguments going and making them as high profile as possible. Without them, she is a complete non-entity. Literally erased. She doesn't really want women to shut up. She wants to cause as much noise as possible so that her 'career' continues. As a career transexual, her entire life revolves revolves around being trans, not around being a woman. Shon doesn't really want transwomen to be considered women. If they were, bye bye career. Catch 22. Being a woman is the very last thing Shon wants to be.

I would normally think of a 'mom' as an American/Canadian and having given birth to children.

I would like to report Mumsnet for giving me Erasure earworms. You guys are worse than that episode of Scrubs where everyone was singing "A Little Respect"

There are genuine trans/ non binary feminist AFAB people speaking out about the fact that only women get branded TERFs, whereas men can be as genuinely and traditionally transphobic as they like and no-one pulls them up on it at all.
These are the rational-thinking non-shrieking trans ppl though, so they don't get heard in their own community.
