I peaked in the mid 2000s (such an early adopter, me) when a very macho/narcissistic hetero neighbour with a penis wore dresses and decided that allowed him to use the women's toilets in the local pub (in a very hipster/gay friendly area not a dockyard, so no one gave a shit beyond thinking he was quite full of himself). I told him he can wear what he wants because I agree that gender stereotypes are bullshit, but this is a women's space to be free of men no matter what they wore. He did not like it and pretended to cry like a child with his bottom lip out and said with a lisp "but I am a girl". I couldn't put into words or even thoughts how instinctively offended I was that he thought dresses and the women's toilets was all that being female was about.

I read this post below today. It documents such a deranged world view. I can't believe organisations, charities, politicians etc are going along with a vocal bunch of campaigners who are so clearly detached from reality. Like Scientology, anti-vaxxers and climate change deniers all rolled into one.

I think I peaked fairly recently reading this board. No issue with genuine trans people.
HOWEVER letting men into female spaces? I understand they want a safe space, but compromising my spaces? No thankyou. Do I want to get changed after swimming next to a flapping penis? Not really. The thought actually scares me to my core. I get that not all men are rapists, but after a shitty relationship I tend to think anyone has the ability to do this, and do I believe it should be made easier to access women when they’re vulnerable? No way.

If self ID is is implemented, there is going to be violent fall out sooner rather than later, for example if a TIM decided to shower next to young girls with an erection, how soon do you think it will take for a parent to give that TIM a pasting? It will happen.
