Bother, I've reached my article limit, could you please post the link with a share token?

NotALabourMemberImAfraidLads · 03/02/2018 00:26

I've never been able to figure out how to get a sharetoken but I'm sure someone else will come along shortly with one....

Oh very good. Very good indeed.

rowdywoman1 · 03/02/2018 00:29

A superb article that summarises so many of the issues coherently and with kindness.

LineySt · 03/02/2018 00:29

"Corbyn must decide if he’ll sacrifice allies who aren’t prepared to see women’s safety compromised for the sake of dogma

"The question of transubstantiation has long divided Christians. Roman Catholics believe that during Holy Communion the wine is literally transformed into the blood of Christ, the bread literally becoming his body. Protestants held that the sacrament was symbolic or metaphorical, and for this were hounded as heretics.

"Whenever I write about gender politics I receive angry chants of “trans women are women”. Over and over, like a catechism. So I have thought hard what this means and to what extent I believe it. Because this question, no pun intended, is the modern version of transubstantiation."

That's what I can see so far - and it looms very interesting.

HerFemaleness · 03/02/2018 00:30

Sorry, I don't know how to do share tokens either.

I'm seriously considering getting a subscription to the Times.

Waddlelikeapenguin · 03/02/2018 00:33

Lurking for a share link Blush

I'm finding discovering i may be a times reader very confusing! Can i self identify as a 90s guardian reader

NotALabourMemberImAfraidLads · 03/02/2018 00:34

Only £1 a month for the first 3 months!

(I honestly don't work for The Times! If I did I'd know how to do the share tokens.)

A truly excellent article. It's shame it's behind a paywall, if only a Mail journalist could write something of such good quality.

I love how great a word transubstantiation is for all this nonsense. Grin

PracticallyTerfectInEveryWay · 03/02/2018 00:52

Thank you Janice! Brilliant.

Theowlinthepussyhat · 03/02/2018 00:54

DancingLedge · 03/02/2018 00:56

So we'll expressed.

Waddlelikeapenguin · 03/02/2018 00:59

Oh that's brilliant. StarJaniceStar

glitterbiscuits · 03/02/2018 01:00

I wish I had written that.

boatyardblues · 03/02/2018 01:02

She managed to get all the salient points and some illustrative cases into a remarkably tidy wordcount.

LadyCassandra · 03/02/2018 01:05

I've been lurking on these threads with interest and horror. This article is brilliant and exactly what should be reported.
I'm in Australia where as far as I know (and I don't have an AU equivalent of MN to go by) this issue isn't quite as advanced as it is in the UK. Probably the one time as a feminist that I'm happy the country is run by a conservative white male government.

CanIBuffalo · 03/02/2018 01:10

Well done Janice. Thank you.

RaininSummer · 03/02/2018 01:14
