Morning all
Has personal trainer last night at gym, was vvvv good. I learnt this new exercise which I thought was absolutely ingenius.
Here's what you do. Get into the 'plank' position (poised as if you were about to start doing press ups, with just hands and toes touching the ground), then move your knees up one by one, as if to touch your tummy. Alternate each side. After a while you can reach with your knees for the opposite shoulder, thus working your 'good waist' muscles. Have I explained that well enough? It works your shoulders, arms, all of your core muscles, thighs, bottom. And waist if you do the twisty version. Also you're so busy concentrating on getting the legs right that you forget you're supporting yourself with the arms, making it deceptively easy.
Didn't biff either, despite late dinner. Had burritos, basically dry fried mince with seasoning and spices in a splash of water, in a flour tortilla with lots of lettuce, chopped tomatoes and a smidge of grated cheddar. Ok, maybe the tortillas were strictly OOZ (out of zone) but the rest I felt was ok. V filling, and no dessert, despite the mountain of delicious speciality cheeses that DP bought yesterday
Happy zoning everyone!
