I bought a pair of new work trousers because my current ones are too big - har! And a nic e frilly cardi thing and a basic gap vest top.

and a dressing gown since I haven't bought one since I was preparing for a trip to the maternity hospoital nearly 14 years ago

cocolepew · 29/05/2010 18:37

I can't find a link, they're Earth Spirit [cringe] but oh dear God they're comfy. I've got them for work so I can sprint after wayward children.

I look like Jesus.

OP posts:
cyb · 29/05/2010 18:39

Luckily my lot are all in one room so my sprinting opportunities are few and far bewtween

Coderooo · 29/05/2010 18:41

branflakes
soup and crusty bread with butter
half a cheese scone

pointydog · 29/05/2010 18:41

lol @ coke. Does it feel like you are walking on water?

cocolepew · 29/05/2010 18:45

Mine are supposed to stay in the same room, they keep making bids for freedom. They're all about 6ft and have very long legs.

I was yelling aross the shop to my mum "Do I look like Jesus"?

"No"

"How about Moses?"

"No"

"That's ok then"

"You look like your Gan"

Oh.

Never mind looking like jesus. Do they make you feel like jesus? That's what matters in teh classroom

cocolepew · 29/05/2010 18:48

I'm not a teacher so I'm better than Jesus

cocolepew · 29/05/2010 18:49

OP posts:
cocolepew · 29/05/2010 18:50

Oh look at my nice brows [wiggles eyebrows]

OP posts:
pointydog · 29/05/2010 18:50

I was just trying to think what god's sandals would look like and now you mention it, I think he would wear them with socks

dinkystinky · 29/05/2010 19:00

Lol at Coco and her biblical sandals. Next she'll be trying to MN on a stone tablet with a stylus..

Pointy - well done on shopping in 12s

Nom - fab weight loss there. Belated woop woop for you.

Buda - have a fab time at the ball. I'd probably have words with DH for not trying to surprise me with something nice from his unplanned M&S trip if I were in your shoes - but then if he was buying a suit I bet he ran in, grabbed the first one he liked ran to the till, paid and dashed out, in a cold sweat. So probably not a murder offence... Mind you my DH rarely buys for me as I'm very difficult to please picky about clothes and jewellery (know on sight if like or dont like something)

Jack - sounds like you had one hell of a night

cyb · 29/05/2010 19:21

am orf out tonight, Lebanesey style in London

Am worried my nude coloured top might bear the brunt of some sloppy finger eating....

Themasterandmargaritas · 29/05/2010 21:01

Coke you are being so Indigo tonight. Behave.

How come you get away with granny shoes and I just get hammered for choosing gimmer-ish sandals?

You are all teachers, gwan admit it, it's a conspiracy. Apart from Dinks with her super sexy dresses she has to be Something In The City.

duckyfuzz · 29/05/2010 21:06

hello girls
I've had my hair cut off, hoping for cute elfin sort if thing, think I may look more like a geek, or worse, my mum
gym again today, scales there confirmed weight loss which is good, then curry tonight but not carby overload, so hopefully ok
coco shoes sound v dodgy, must find linky please?

dinkystinky · 29/05/2010 21:09

Cos Coco has already previewed and accepted her gimmer like tendencies being slated by the thread (like flower shows...) TMAM. And you are generally non-gimmer like so we're justified in pulling you up on any gimmer like tendencies as you clearly dont want to go there... yet...

I'm a city lawyer so probably the ginja one from SATC - though agree there do seem to be ALOT of educationalists on this thread...

cocolepew · 29/05/2010 21:10

I promise I've tried to find a link, but can't. TMAM I'm allowed because it's "appropriate footwear for a work situation" so says headteacher, Who likes to pitypatter around in extra tight pencil skirts and humongous heels.

OP posts:
cocolepew · 29/05/2010 21:11

I'M THINKING OFF THE CHILDREN! [wrings hands]

OP posts:
dinkystinky · 29/05/2010 21:12

So given free choice in shoewear you'd be in your manolos eh Coco?

Themasterandmargaritas · 29/05/2010 21:13

Poor children, poor wee petals, probably traumatised by trying to be like you

cocolepew · 29/05/2010 21:14

erm, yes.

I did get grey CConverse as well, but you all cchose to ignore that, didn't you? Hmmm?

OP posts:
cocolepew · 29/05/2010 21:15

My boobs are bigger.

I traumatise them in my own special way.
