Nine!!!!!???

Maybe she meant inspirational Aitch.

Yes, Tesco is a rip off. I love Lidl. My favourite crips come from there called appetisingly "Krusti Croc".

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 18/05/2010 09:31

crips?? Probably a relative of nits. Crisps

VoulezVouzCrochezAvecJACK · 18/05/2010 09:48

I normally smell of Avon Bondgirl (which if you know my surname is beyond sad)
But currently am sporting nivea sensitive.

Period due in next few days, first sign is 2lb weight gain, then it stays on during and gradually goes over last few days (6 day duration)

Morning all. All this talk of nits is making me want to scratch my head. Stop it. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease.

Aitch - maybe its cos you fed your DD2 real food (you are synonymous with BLW on MN) instead of jar food so you are forever more a person with a nice fridge full of food?? Re periods - you will put on weight around the time of your period as for some reason women suffer from water retention at that time. You may also notice that exercising is a bit harder for some reason - think its because having your period raises your core body temperature abit. Both will pass. Drink lots of water and keep zoning if you can and you'll be right where you want to be a week or so after your period has ended. Well done on the run. With the might of MN behind you you will look FABULOUS at the frenchie wedding, oh yes you will. Jack and Coco will be in charge of your hair (though Coco, you're not allowed to give her nits for the wedding - not a good look), Cyb and Su in charge of shoes and bag, TMAM and Ducky in charge of dress. What could go wrong (apart from a pesky volcano)?

Jack - I put on a pound while flued. Fingers feel like sausages so putting it down to water retention for the most part. Remember that huge (and excellent) article which killed the last thread and the words of wisdom on there. What are your trousers telling you?

Bobs - 9 Ferrerro Roche

dinkystinky · 18/05/2010 10:15

And you MUST list on here every day what you've done (exercise wise) and eaten (food wise) so you can be shouted at if need be. Come on ladies, we need to FEEL THE FEAR AGAIN.

FoghornLeghorn · 18/05/2010 10:21

Well done Duke & Su

Yesterday I had porridge, go ahead biscuits, banana, chicken noodle soup, muller light, beef stir fry - good ?

Today is going to be similar with turkey pork stir fry for dinner

FoghornLeghorn · 18/05/2010 10:22

dinkystinky · 18/05/2010 10:44

Cool Jack - walking good idea for exercise when you're feeling under the weather. Menu for the day sounds good.

Have done circuits this morning. Have had skinny latte and yoghurt for breakfast. Lunch will be soup and edamame beans. Snack will be fruit salad. Dinner will be something fish based I suspect with a salad - need to see what we have in. Have personal trainer tonight. Will shift myself of this plateau by hook or by crook.

Foghorn - all sounds good. Poor DD2 - hope she's feeling better.

VoulezVouzCrochezAvecJACK · 18/05/2010 10:48

Oh fog, sorry your dd is sick, DD2 has just filled her nappy with the most liquid mamag...ahem...

I hope it isn't catching

Am hardcore today.

And if dh and dses had attempted to come anywhere near the FRs I would probably have ripped them limb from limb.

Was like a wild animal.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 18/05/2010 11:43

Do love FRs.

CheeeseOnToast · 18/05/2010 11:57

What's an FR?

I've been AWOL for the last day or so, soz, v v busy in new job and various events.

Have been DEF in the zone though. Only slight indescretion was last night when I got home about 11:30pm and DP had made me cheese on toast. It was a Gesture so i had to eat, although I did have half - so only one slice of bread.

Have been zoning like a trooper other than that. Yoga last night (feel amazing and stretchy today) then met up with friends - where normally I'd polish off a bottle of wine and hoover up any chocs and crisps going. Instead, I took almost zero cal sparkling water with lemon and lime, and I ate one handful of sensations sweet chilli crisps (my all time favourite) and then ate grapes. two glugs of champers, that was it. No dinner either (apart from an apple as I left the gym and cheese on toast when I got back later) so all round I feel ok about it.

ITZ (in the zone) today too - porridge for brek, green tea, water for mid morning biff-prevention, not sure what lunch is yet but possible some kind of vegetable selection and some grilled chick/turkey. small portions, o'course.

Plum for afternoon snack (and maybe banana if I need it) then dinner tonight is As Yet Undecided. will be a good one though. I am determined to report a loss on Friday. I will.

CheeeseOnToast · 18/05/2010 12:19

oh and hope those with poorly children don't catch anything!

CheeeseOnToast · 18/05/2010 12:25

Or they do and lose weight

Ahem.

FoghornLeghorn · 18/05/2010 12:33

Catching the lurgy could aid with the weight loss Cheese - I might be giving DD extra hugs when I get home tonight

Aitch · 18/05/2010 12:38

thank you for your kind words, dinky.

hopefully will not have period for frog money wedding...

i think nine is okay, tbh. you didn't eat the whole box, that's a triumph of the will right there, bobs. (have just been reading J&W so am feeling extra-kindly towards you).

krusti krocs are great with the lidl own brand mayo, it's that euro-mayo that's really mustardy, and only 90p for a big jar. when i eat those (not recently obv) i truly feel like i'm on my hols. have you tried the paprika flavour? yum. and i speak as a non crisp eater.

Undertone · 18/05/2010 12:52

Salivating at thought of ferrero rochers. I can imagine piling 9 of them in a little pyramid and running at them, face-first.

I am soooo hungry. I've got a wall chart at home where I write calorie intake, amount of exercise done, alcohol units imbibed, weight once a week, etc. I fill it in every day (helps me to spot trends - v helpful when plateauing to see overall progress). The final column is for a little tick - tick on good days, cross on baaaad days. I usually manage a run of five or so ticks and (especially at weekends) one or two crosses after that.

I currently have a run of NINE ticks - and I've tried to be extra good the last few days because I'm off in a couple of hours to a two-day meeting in Spain with work and I just KNOW that most of it is going to revolve around eating manchego and jamon, and drinking rioja. It'll be mostly middle-aged men at the meeting, so I don't want to be the only woman going 'oh no - not for me - I'm on a diet' when they're handing around the artery-cloggers.

Halp!

MamaGlee · 18/05/2010 12:55

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm fr

Aitch · 18/05/2010 13:02

just go low-carb for the duration, spain's perfect for that. i distinctly remember being told 'no hay lechuga en todo Santander' upon asking for a salad...

anyway, undertone, weren't you our statto? nice to hear of your star chart when some of us haven't even had so much as a pie.

Themasterandmargaritas · 18/05/2010 13:03

Undertone, you are SUCH a geek figures person. I am of the work trip. I never get to go anywhere. I am stuck here, in the midst of El Nino never to see another shop again.

Dinks you have terrified me into not eating the air biscuit and having a flapjack instead. Is that alright? At least it's not NINE FR....

Out for dinner tonight. Gulp.

VoulezVouzCrochezAvecJACK · 18/05/2010 13:15

Ew, stop talking about fr's nuts in chocolate is so wrong, bleurgh

Feel so full and sick now.
Mahoosive salad (endive, round lettuce, carrot, cabbage and cuce) with chicken, egg, salsa and seeds, yum, had to force myself to finish it.
Resally should be going for a run today but still have fever, ugh.

OP posts:
isthatporridgeinyourzone · 18/05/2010 13:37

Will find Lidl mayo and try with krusti crocs when am less fat. Sounds delicious although hardly aspirational Aitch.

How can nuts and chocolate be wrong?? It is a culinary match made in heaven. Anyway I was imagining them being passed round at travelodge do on a big silver platter..."Su, with these rocher, you are rilly spoiling us"

Undertone · 18/05/2010 13:38

Sorry Aitch! Does you computer have Microsoft Office? If so, I can FTP the PowerPoint file I used to make the charts, and it would enable you to fill in your stats, thus circumventing the shit geek/statto (i.e. me!) Click on the following link to download - no scary viruses, I promise: download PowerPoint slide

It's not a very glamorous work trip. It's a tour around the final assembly line of a Spanish aircraft manufacturer. Woop woop! It'll be over 30 degrees. I'm a sweater. Glamour: negative.

Good idea re: low carbing. I'll just do 100% cheese and ham!

Aitch · 18/05/2010 13:41

oh dear yes, sorry, i downloaded that before and couldn't make head nor tail. am very much not a numbers person...

i am also a bit of a sweater. my sympathies. we are not a glamorous folk.
