Just checked Nectar and don't see Ask on there - so it must have been an American Express promotion.

Well done on the run!

Morning all! Another warm start to the day here!

Spoke to GP yesterday who had managed to get hold of a neurologist. Have been prescribed some oral steroids so hopefully I shall avoid going into hospital. Trouble is the steroids make me feel hot & sick unless I keep my blood sugar up...so lots of munching here over the next few days!! Given up all hope of reaching my target by DDs birthday.

Trimmer - hope you had a nice birthday & a nice meal out!

Anyone have any nice plans for the weekend? I have lots to do but thankfully the ILs are taking DD this morning so it'll be nice and peaceful here! (I do end up missing her after a couple of hours though!!)

Not going to have time to go for a run today (plus dh is concerned about my achilles tendons), so I'll post the weight I was yesterday: 12 stone 13 lb

Not going to post what I was this morning

Nearly sorted for going on holiday - we'll be leaving at about midnight to drive down to Manchester. Fortunately dh and I are both good sleepers when travelling and will get on the plane and fall asleep - as will ds.

SOrry to hear you are having to give up on your target bebejones. Is there anyway of maintaining a reasonable blood sugar level without having to give in to the munchies: low GI stuff like porridge/oats for example?
