piste we have sports day on Friday, 3 hours of it. Agree with your [yawn]. No tea or coffee, at least I've learnt to stock up with a flask.
Congrats to your dd on her athletic success.
bebe Sounds like your dd is in the swing of the terrible twos!
We have the furious fives
My age 5 dd got it into her head that she had to take her soft toy horse into school. She defied me and got it in the car, holding on to it with an iron grip. We were in a hurry and had to go. My patience levels weren't brilliant by the time we got out of the car and whipped it out of her arms when she loosened her grip (wrong way to deal with it, I'm cringing!). She cried and cried, it was just so important to her that she took this toy in. Had to go into the classroom and ask the teacher to tell her how they get lost, but she can bring it in tomorrow as part of an 'experts' session on how animals talk if in a labelled bag. Wasn't happy with that, nothing else would do.
I feel bad for not dealing with it that well, she wouldn't have been so upset. Sorry for going on a bit, just wanted to get that off my chest!
I remember once we had cold soup in France, dh wasn't impressed, but I quite liked it, was a creamy corgette thingy.
blondes Maltesers are OKish. A twix would have been worse!
