None of the other threads quite fit the bill, so here goes: I want to lose 1 stone and get healthy.

Have tried lots of diets in the past so am going to be experimenting a bit I think, starting with some fairly generalised 'healthy eating', especially increasing my veg intake. And hopefully some exercise ...

Most of the Christmas treats are now scoffed, kids went back to school today, so I'm starting now and will get really serious once I have the chance to shop!

Hello, Hope you don't mind me marking a place, I recently lost 4 stone partly through the weight loss resources website and am taking a break while I move house before trying to lose the last 1 and a half stone. omg! that sounds awful doesn't it!

I can't concentrate on dieting in all this chaos! Hope to join you soon.

Have managed to get this far without too much straying!
I had a few shreddies out of the box when I got an attack of the munchies (about 7 of them)so wasn't too bad.

I've had 1260 cals today.

I started on Monday but I don't which day I weigh in. I'll join you on Fridays Doing.

Hi ladies, can I join you please? You are all doing really well.

I am also using the foodfocus website and been doing my diet sice Jan 1st. I have lost 3lbs in erm...13 days. I have another 10lbs to lose as I am getting married in July. This is the last bit of babyweight for me. My target is 1391 cals per day, to lose 1 lb per week.

Today I had
BF: 2 toast with nutella/peanut buter, cup of tea
Lunch: quavers, soup, half a cheese toastie and a pear
tea: baked potato with leftover stew

I had enough calories left for a treat so have had a little choco thing at 136 calories!

Marking a place as well
Been on a diet for last five days, well more of a eating awareness exercise...It worked before Xmas for about three weeks, but then ate and drank again, so put 4 Ibs back on...
Breakfast coffee (with milk) toast with butter and jam (2 slices)

Lunch - ham and lentil soup and 2 thin slices of plain wholemeal bread, water

Tea - a walnut, 2 raisins, a piece of plain bread
cups of tea and coffee (without sugar)

Supper - Tacos with lean chicken, salad, grated cheddar, bit of sour cream, tomato salsa and a glass of guinness (usually don't drink anything)

I now feel completely full, but I was starving before every meal and craving cake at 4pm (didn't give in)

Hope to have lost another Ib on scales tomorrow morning - hope guinness has not been my undoing
My aim is to eat three square meals (minus pudding) and no snacks and no alcohol generally.

Friday sounds good to me for a weigh day.

Well today:
Porridge with frozen berries
Lunch - ham sandwich
Dinner - Haddock and roasted veg
Snacks - Banana and yogurt.

Exercise - Cycling 6miles and 45m workout at the gym.

I am so peed off cuz I haven't lost an oz this week so far and have put on 3/4 of a pound. My DH keeps telling me its because I am gaining muscle, boo!

Well done kit on the 4st loss, I have lost 3st and still have 2st to go so don't be about it be instead!

breakfast 2 cups of real coffee
and piece of plain bread (no butter)

Planned intake for Thurs
Lunch - portion of ricotta and spinach cannelloni in tom sauce from freezer
apple

snack at teatime - grapes and cup of tea

Supper - mushroom soup (without cream!)and broccoli and sesame salad, and piece of bread

Exercise - today walk a mile, what with one errand and another

Short Ds is a lot better thanks! (I assume you meant me?) He's a bit whiney but seems fine otherwise.
Have you taken your measurements? Weight often flutuates so don't be annoyed.
Well done on th loss so far.

Today I've had porridge (Doing I added some raisins. It tasted really nice. Might add some cinnamon too tomorrow )

Have had lunch as planned, but no apple.
A large carrot instead, think that will keep me going till tea-time...felt ferociously hungry before lunch. A good sign probably.

I was a bit peckish so I just had a packet of snack a jacks. They're quite nice(a bit too junky for my taste but its lower cal than my usual handcooked natural flavoured crisps!)
I'm still within my cals so its all good.

Had a bad day yesterday and went over my cals by 250 even with exercise. I had the munchies and ended up having 2 slices of toast with real butter at around half 9 last night.

Today has been better with some raosted root veg for lunch, cottage chesse with pinapple as a snack and homemade beef stew for dinner.

Exercise wise I did a spin class and some weights burning 645cals. Am planning on having one of those tiny 15g bars of green and blacks dark choc tonight as a treat.

Weigh in tomorrow and I'm hoping for a 2lb loss.

Today i have had

Turkey & red onion sandwich,2 pieces of pineapple & a tangerine

Bowl of hubbys beef & veg stew (very yummy)& a small portion of goji berries & pumpkin seeds.

Lots of water & cups of tea.

Weigh day tomorrow & i am hoping for at least 2lb.

Good luck everyone & if you feel peckish tonight resist & put loads of hand cream on instead.

This afternoon did not go too well -
Ihad 2 cinnamon and raisin bagels (no butter though at 4.00 because I was starving starving
then smallslice of homeade pizza at 8.00, another bagel and then meeting out, diet coke only, some brocolli salad wth sesame oil at 11.00pm and some wenseleydale cheese.
and another carrot...
no alcohol though

I have ended up losing 3/4 of a pound this week. Hopefully will be bigger next week after all the exercise I have been doing!

Just weighed myself & i have lost 3 1/2 lb this week so so far i have lost 8 1/2 lb,but i have a long way to go yet.

Just about to have my breakfast & i am working all day today so i should have a good day.

Hi - Can I please join in as well. Started following WW online but don't know if it is going to be much motivation. Lost 30lbs a couple of years ago going to classes but put it all back on and more. Can't get to classes now due to DH's shifts. Think I need to report to someone!!!! Weighing in on a Monday night.

Today i have had so far:

Breakfast: Cornflakes

Snack: Grapes

For lunch I plan to have tuna and crispbread
with salad. Dinner I'm not sure cos Friday night is normally take-away night so I'll let you know tomorrow.

Today I have also managed to avoid tons of home baking kicking about the office to celebrate 2 engagements!!!

Today meal plan

B - Banana & coffee
L - leftover beef stew
D - spag bol (small portion)

I did an hour of body pump (weightlifting class) and 10 mins running at an incline.

Well despite bagels and guinness in last few days I have lost 2Ibs over the week!

Now at 12 stone (I am 5ft 10)so just heading for the 11.5 stone goal - that would make me feel quite thin!

I started on Monday but am changing my weigh in day to Friday so I can join everyone.

I've lost 1.5lbs since Monday and am really pleased with that.

Today I've had/am having

porridge
toast x2
1 bourbon biscuit at coffee morning
covent garden bean soup
apple, satsuma
grilled beef burger in a bap with salad
grapes

A bit of a bready day but its all within my cal allowance and I'm not feeling too great. Need the comfort
