Does anyone want to start WeightWatchers with me?

I hate jumping into new threads ... everyone has a head start and they aren't all excitable about it like new people.

I lost 2.5 stone a couple of years ago, using WeightWatchers, so I know it works. Unfortunately in the last 6 months, a stone of it has crept back on and I'm really NOT prepared to be fat again. I weighed myself today, and am (gosh) 13st 1lb.

My points allowance is 20, my first goal is 12 stone 8 lb - who's with me!?

Are you going to take the Eating Out book with you or memorise your options?! It's hard to remember the points / stick to the sensible options, isn't it?

I'll join too! I weighed myself today and am about 13st 12! I did ww in 2007 and got right down to 10st 13!!! We've got 3 months til Xmas, enough time to make a big difference!

BlameItOnTheBoogie · 18/09/2009 16:10

How do you calculate points when shopping etc? I seem to remember my friend had a table thingy she got when she joined but I didn't get one. I'm having to use the website since I haven't got the hang of it yet.

Well, I didn't eat any cake at work at all today, so I am very pleased with myself. But I am wondering how I will force myself to have pasta with a tomatoey sauce when we go out on Saturday night, when smoked salmon and cream sauce is on the menu!

colditz · 18/09/2009 17:09

Have a bowl of soup before you leave the house.

I have been relegated to the kitchen to watch strictly and will be sleeping on the sofa tonight as DS is ill.

Well today I have had

Beans on granary toast 4pts
pack of WW crisps 1pt
apple .5pt
Tuscan onion soup 1pt (used oil instead of spray oil)
2 ryvitas with lowfat Philly and wafer thin ham 3.5pts
crips and and apple 1.5 pts
apple .5pt

Morning all. Had quite a good day yesterday, banked half a point!!

Out tonight so will definitely struggle to stay within allowed points, ought to read up on the eating out section first I guess ...

I have been good today too. Skipped lunch, just had 2 apples as I want to enjoy my fajitas and lass of wine this evening. Also got a long walk in.

My weigh in day is Monday which is great as it keeps me on the straight and narrow over the weekend.

Colditz..I like the idea of a big bowl of soup before going out. i am out on Friday and will definitely do that.

I am really motivated at the moment..long may it last.

cilldara · 19/09/2009 19:10

I've been good today, too.

Almond Oats and more with skimmed milk 2.5
1/2 a TGI Friday's BBQ chicken salad with no cheese and dressing on the side(minging!)3(maybe?)
Crumpet with low cal spread 1.5
Chocolate cereal bar 1.5
Home made chicken tagine with brown rice 4.5
WW chocolate mini cup cake 1.5

I've saved 16 points but feel guilty at the thought of using them!

I may be mad but I think my jeans are looser...but only been dieting for 8 days - and only 6 on WW. Weigh-in on Monday and sadly excited!

FiveGoMadonTheDanceFloor · 20/09/2009 10:43

Forgive me WW for I have sinned. I was bad yesterday but in forgiveness had only 4 hours sleep on Friday night as had a sick baby.

Today is better, have had beans on toast for 3.5 points and 2 rashers of bacon 3 points, we are going to the pub for lunch but the lunch I want is only 6 points and so can have some alcohol.

Have a good day.

Well, I was so good last night - stuck to spaghetti vongole and a salad with no dressing, and lemon sorbet for afters, and I didn't drink any wine!!!

(And I didn't even have the zero points soup before I went out!)

Hi,

I would like to join in if I may. I only went to one weigh in, then lost my day off so can't get to anymore. I am 2lbs down so far and weighing on Tuesday. It's so hard to resist a sneaky weigh! I saved up a fair few points for the weekend - my big sis birthday, but I think I still went over

Salad is nice with a squeeze of lemon on top.

Mithered · 20/09/2009 17:57

Well I have been doing really well (apart from Friday night when I drank far too much)
I actually went for a run today and enjoyed it. Am feeling very virtuous and eating carrots.
Carrots are my friend!
Banked 2 points yesterday.
I just know my body will have gone into shock and I will have lost bugger all on Thursday
