Does anyone want to start WeightWatchers with me?

I hate jumping into new threads ... everyone has a head start and they aren't all excitable about it like new people.

I lost 2.5 stone a couple of years ago, using WeightWatchers, so I know it works. Unfortunately in the last 6 months, a stone of it has crept back on and I'm really NOT prepared to be fat again. I weighed myself today, and am (gosh) 13st 1lb.

My points allowance is 20, my first goal is 12 stone 8 lb - who's with me!?

Well it's all very quiet here isn't it?!

Thought I would update on my progress even though I might be talking to myself

I think SLOW sums it up. I last posted on Jan 28th and was 12 stone and half a pound which was 7 weeks ago.

I am now 11 stone 9.5 so that's a weight loss of 5 pounds in 7 weeks. That's a total loss of 23.5 pounds since I started at 13 stone 5 back in September.

I will soon be coming up to my 6 month mark so should hopefully hit a 2 stone loss by then. So it looks like an average of a pound a week over the whole 6 month period. There's been a few weeks where I've gained, stayed the same and lost only half a pound but I'm sticking at it.

My Gold goal is 10 stone 6 and now that spring has sprung (or feels like it has)I'm going to up the ante and aim to get there a little more quickly!

Have also switched to monthly pass so it's slightly cheaper and makes me feel more signed up IYKWIM.

Anyone else?

Hi Glasjam - I was looking for a ww thread! I just rejoined. Lots baby weight after ds was born, he's nearly 7 and I'm now back where I started! Only 10st 5 to start with, but not where I would like to be. Aiming for 8st 13ish. Lost 2lb first week, but this weekend hasn't been great, and I also have to go to weigh in 2 days early on Wed as I can't make my normal Friday meeting. I'm 40 next year and determined to be in shape.
