I am allowed to start gentle exercise from 9th August

So if it stops raining we will start walking to and from all our town based activities and one session a week with the 'man'

I am down another kg now I am only overweight rather than obese!

Hi Dizzy

VintageGardenia · 30/07/2009 11:30

Oops that's great news! It is so frustrating when you can't exercise. Brilliant news on the loss too! V. glad for you .

Did you just add up the lengths in an accountanty way, or did you actually swim them? Well done though Sazzles on keeping to your limit, am very jealous impressed

Got a virtuous salad withcheese for lunch and am managing to avoid the cake sale at work today. SIL coming over on Sunday so will make cupcakes for my weekly cake treat and share with her

Well done Oops there will be no stopping you once you start exercising too

VG you are right about the weeks going by and suddenly we've been doing this for ages. Will be 11 weeks on Friday I think and I have never been able to maintain healthy eating for even half as long before (obviously ignoring the weekend naughtiness )

Just think of those slinky Christmas party dresses we will be foxying around in

Sazz - I have never as an adult been 9st10 My best fighting weight is 11st12. My frame is just not girly and small - I have great big swimmers shoulders which I hoped would dissapear once I stopped swimming competitively but no such luck.

Hi there. I have never posted my weight, only my losses.

I am wondering what this says about me.

VintageGardenia · 30/07/2009 13:16

For lunch I am having a bowl of roasted vegetables - courgette, onions, sundried toms, etc - drizzled with pesto when they come out of the oven. V tasty.

For dins tonight tis a special one as Last Supper before hols so is shoulder of lamb cooked for aaaaaaages in 2 tins toms, few slugs wine, stock, with onions, spuds, carrots etc, is sort of bastardised Irish stew I suppose. So I will have reasonable amt sans spud & will be scrummy.

No dear old Sazzles didn't at all mean you were, I was genuinely reflecting on myself.

I think the best outcome for me here is moving from thinking

diet - ok let's line up all the foods it's ok to stuff your face with

to

health - I don't really want to stuff my face at all

cyteen · 30/07/2009 13:40

Hello girls, just popping in to get back on the thread. Eating habits are still a bit rubbish but I love love love the bikram yoga - am gutted that I'm not going tonight as too poorly

Hoping to start cutting back on the snacks once I feel a bit happier.

Go all of us!

DH offered pizza for tea and I said no Have had goat's cheese flamme instead though, so almost like a pizza really but classier, was super delish with a huge salad and a very few chips. Nothing more till weigh-in...

dizzydixies · 30/07/2009 19:46

maybe I shouldn't join in as I qualify as morbidly obese

I do have family in Barca though if that sways the decision?

hotterpotter · 30/07/2009 19:54

Don't be a daft girl Dizzy, I was a proper lardarse too when we started this. Anyway, the plumper you are the easier it is to lose, especially at first. Just set yourself a gentle target and start

dizzy if you lost 2lb per week in Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec you would be -32lb by Barcelona and as we prob won't go till New Year you could prob be more. That's over 2 stone off!!!!

oopsacoconut · 30/07/2009 21:41

Well tonight I turned down a chinese takeawy in favour of a jacket pot with tuna, low fat mayo, sweet corn and red onions. Will be having take out on Saturday but am going for the 'healthy' options - no creamy sauces plain rice, no bread.

I have a small pot of fat free yoghurt for pud and 3 more glasses of water to get in before bed.
