hotter - water water water, will move everything PLUS make it easier to move iyswim also when you do go, sit with your feet up on a step or something to make it easier - don't know how but it works

hot water with slice of lemon in it first thing in morning aids digestion/movements too

here endeth my botty&bowel lesson of the day

hotterpotter · 03/08/2009 09:06

I know the step trick Dizzy and luckily have DD's little loo step to help me Will try and remember to drink more water. I much prefer fizzy but we have run out and tesco aren't coming until Thursday evening, will have to make do with Corporation pop

No breakfast yet as we have run out of milk, but DS left half his toast today and I haven't eaten it, yay me

LOL Sazzles at Coronation Pop, showing your breeding there What I said was Corporation Pop, which is working class for tap water Is there anything you really like to eat that DH doesn't, could you treat yourself? I bet you have loads of calories left

Have been pretty good here too, cereal, tuna salad, and chicken lasagne with low fat cheese sauce and heaps of runny beans from my mum's garden. Senna tablets have proved effective too so we'll see what tomorrow's sneaky weigh-in has to say...

Dizzy do you have a short term goal in mind or are you just seeing what happens? Don't worry about the Wii, if your DDs didn't go to sleep till 10pm I bet you had plenty of exercise looking after them

Sazzles I hope you had more than a tin of beans for your tea last night You know if you go too crazy on calorie reduction it will make it harder to stop dieting. Lecture over

Scales showed 1lb down which is less than I expected but still OK, so will step away from the scales now until Friday. Have been pretty good today, smaller cereal, tuna omelette for lunch but I had a funny turn this afternoon and came over all dizzy (). An apple didn't fix it so had an iced ring doughnut . It was delicious and did the trick. To make up for it I have: had my hair cut which prob lost me an ounce or two , turned down a biscuit at the hairdressers, been to town twice so probably walked at least 2 miles today, then had a half portion of mash with my sausages at tea time.

Back to work tomorrow so I will be on the straight and narrow for two days, plus worrying about DS' rocket birthday cake should burn a few more calories

Oh Sazzles I wish I had no sweet tooth, would make this so much easier

How's it going Dizzy? You made it on the Wii yet?

What a shame about your yucky dinner . Not a fan of packet sauces here either, apart from Blue Drasgon wet sauce, and I also cheat with Patak's curry paste. MIL keeps buying us the odd jar of Chicken Tonight, it's been going on too long to admit we don't like it so it goes down the sink

Can't seem to avoid weighing every day but am down a bit more today, hurrah. No way I'll meet my 12 7lb target on Friday unless I get some hideous vomiting virus (no thanks), but hoping for 12 8.5

Have just got my period too so hoping the resulting reduction in water retention will be my friend

Your chicken noodle soup sounds really yummy. I'm having fish and chips but out of the oven not the chippy so surprisingly virtuous

salad with quiche tonight for tea and roll & ham for lunch - can't remember as far back as brekkie but I doubt it was inspired as was on my own with the kids!

chicken noodle soup sounds lovely Sazz

not managed on wii yet as regardless how many times DH shows me how to get it up and running I can't seem to manage DD1 can do it though but if I get her to turn it on she wants to play sodding games and not go to bed

will get there!

hotterpotter · 05/08/2009 21:50

Sounds like you are doing well on the food front Dizzy, good lass . Shame about the Wii though, are you a total technophobe? Must admit I've got Wii fit but haven't been on it for a few months now, it's just hard to find time todoanything now I am back at work.

Sazzles I'm glad your soup was good, think you've shared the recipe before but do you want to again?

Am a bit worried about the damage that will be done this weekend. I am OK if there is no cake around but find it very very hard to resist if I can see or smell it Plus there will be three or four separate visits from friends and family, and I will have to be sociable and have some cake or bun with each one . Will just have to live on lettuce for the rest of the week

no but having been shown about 3 times how to do it I just have to swallow my pride and pay attention this time

food lunch/dinner was good but the mini caramel and handful of kettle chips has gone in on autopilot - once the house is devoid I won't be buying in anymore and I think I need to tackle alifetime a few years of really bad habits too

chicken, mash and peas for tea and nothing this evening which is normally my weakest time

I keep thinking tomorrow is Sat and panicking about my weigh in

Hey ladies, feeling a bit that I don't really have time to chat on the proper thread, but at least I can keep up with this

That's amazing Sazzles, 700 calories under target you must have swum half a marathon!

Dizzy you are thinking about what you're eating though, which is a big step in the right direction, and not eating after tea shows great willpower and determination I used to think nothing of polishing off rounds of buttery toast on an evening, at probably 250 cals a slice (with the amount of butter I like ) it soon adds up. There are about 30 packets of crisp in the cupboard at the moment in anticipation of the party on Saturday, but am so far managing to resist them

Been swimming today too, although only half a mile again, but it all adds up. People at work are starting to say things about how much weight I've lost which is a great incentive to keep it up . Pretty good food-wise, although I am quite hungry now, but having a cup of tea instead and then off to bed.

Why don't you join us at the weigh-in tomorrow Dizz for moral support andthenyoucanneckwineandcrispsonFridaynight
