1 lb on this mornings weigh in but am not disheartened as even with managing to intake fluids again as well as beginning to eat I was expecting something - have also ordered scales online too AND remembered to weigh myself today (friday)

not the threads highest achieving member I'll grant you however its a start

OMG Sazz that's fantastic!!!!!!!! You have worked so hard it's amazing

Dizz never mind on the +1 chuck, you are still -9, and now we have peer pressured talked you into some proper scales you will be weighing with us every day a bit more often and it will soon be dropping off you

Down 2.25lb today so am officially 11-stone-something albeit by a mere whisker. May have lost a bit more since weigh-in too as we have had a terrifying trauma with DD being hardly able to walk this morning she seems OK now but it was scary at the time. More on that story later.

well done guys - you're doing fantastically

hotterpotter · 20/11/2009 13:36

Done my swimming today -40 lengths in 40 minutes so no better but no worse than last week.

Well done girls!! Delighted for you both hots and sazz, excellent excellent news and so WELL DESERVED. And dizzy you may be up 1 but you are also down 10 so that's a result in my book! Don't let those other 9 back near ya!

I think I've sort of left off weighing for the moment as am slightly fed up with it but I can report my exerSazzes achieved with three good runs this week and a short one. Main point being achieving 8K (some SWOTS did 10K ) so have to do 9 next week.

Bon courage mes amis.

VintageGardenia · 20/11/2009 15:29

Forgot to say Sazz: reports are YES the total immersion thing is worth it - that it will not transform your swimming there and then but will give you the tools to work with yourself - that if you are already a strong swimmer you will benefit much more.

Hello!

Off running at 11, I have to do 9 this week though am slightly hungover still from Sunday so will certainly be a challenge!

I had a huge and very delicious dinner on Sat but not much yesterday, however I fear the wine calories from Sat pm may have used up all of yesterday's, today's and tomorrow's allowance.

Think am going to go completely cold turkey on bread this week, it's crept back in (I think I was saying this last week - how rubbish I haven't solved the problem yet) so NO BREAD ALLOWED. It's the devil's work.

Good luck everyone! Enjoy your pilates, Sazz.

Thinking of you today dizzy.

hotterpotter · 23/11/2009 10:46

Ooh good luck VG with the hungover running, hope you don't end up looking

Sazz +1 is pretty good after a birthday so well done

I am +3 but got my period unexpectedly yesterday so there must be some water retention mixed in with the extra carbs Only managed 3 x ExerSazz last week too, must try harder this week.

GO ladies, Go ladies >

alittlebitshy · 23/11/2009 18:40

remember me?

I need to get back on this. Having cut out the choccie cos it was giving me headaches, snacking less is seeming easier........

Exercise wise. hmm. I don't really . I do a 20 mins there and 20 mions back walk with buggy on a weds, and pootling round locally but other than that, nada. not sure how to rectify this.

Welcome back ALBS. I can heartily recommend our lovely leader Sazz, that's her swaying like a willow wand in the size 12 jeans over there, yes, she's the one with the whip too.
I would volunteer to help you too but I realise I am in need of a boot up the backside too so perhaps we will do it hand in hand so to speak.

OK I am doing all the necessary exercise but I have become v lax on the food and ALCOHOL front, not sure what's got into me.

Anyone care to kick my arse?

I have left off weighing for ages now because I was pissed off BUT I want to lose another stone, I really really want to.

I am running my 10K race on 12 Dec I think. Skype or other webcam linkups prohibited .

Yes but only 5K due to time constraints rather than hungover/exploding lungs.

OK will do a food log as of tomorrow & will get back to Lord Ford too.

You are right about the judgment monitoring.

VintageGardenia · 23/11/2009 21:56

OK my new programme:

  • 4 x runs per week for ExerSazz
  • 10K race 12th Dec
  • Log food with Lord Ford
  • Up the agua again - 2 litres per day
  • No cheating
  • No bullshit

Welcome back ALBS we will whip you into shape no problem Watch out for that Sazz though, she's fierce

VG booze would be my utter downfall if I allowed myself to drink more than two nights a week . It's not just the alcohol calories, and now I have built my strength back up to the best part of a bottle of wine that's enough by itself, but also the fact that as soon as one sip passes my lips I am rooting round in the fridge like I haven't eaten all day

Not been too bad on food today, although I did have a danish pastry it was instead of lunch. Tomorrow will be a bigger test as there is rather a large Lola cake in the fridge with my DD's name on it

1x ExerSazz to log - 14 miles on the bike. I wasn't really in the mood and it took 40 minutes but at least I did it
