don't worry too much about school lunch fuzzy! ours are uber-healthy (do you know many kids who would eat beansprout salad?)

OP posts:
fuzzypeach · 07/07/2009 22:38

beansprout salad - yuk
milky way crispy roll - tell me more...

Rialentless · 07/07/2009 22:40

So tasty for so few syns, and the creamy inside hits the spot too

ConnieComplaint · 08/07/2009 00:29

Guess what I just done?

Get your minds outta the gutter ladies!!

I cleared out my wardrobe & 5 drawers...and two 'extra baskets' where I keep my clothes!! I have one bag of clothes for the charity shop & one bag to be thrown out!

It was very lethargic... obviously the nap I had this evening helped me loads... but I probably should go to bed or I will sleep in again in mornin!!

WI tomorrow night....am crapping it tbh!

Rialentless · 08/07/2009 09:39

3lbs off ofr me this week! Great since i have been ating junk, but to be fair my appetite has shrunk to next to nothig, i used to wolf down a family size Pizza with 2 or 3 sides but now im full after 2 slices and no sides!

Im wearing a pair of new size 14 jeans, my size 16 were showing my bum to all of the world where they kept falling down.

Really need to push for the 2 1/2 lbs next week so i can get my stone, then i will be at my mini target for my holiday, which isn't untill the end of August but when i started this i always said i wanted to loose at least a stone then.

DS has CF clininc today, i have my note book with a long list of questions asit a join London/Home Clinic, good luck Dr!

Hi all, I'm really happy there's a SW thread on here! Have put 2 stone on when pg with ds2, had him 8 weeks ago & have just started BodyOptimise, the web based one as with 2 children & a dh who works away, I can't get to a weekly class.

I think its the novelty but I'm walking a mile every day with the pram, am trying to be good & have lost 10lb so far. I wish I could get to a class though, & have that support each week.

Never mind, wish me luck next week when I'm on holiday!

fuzzypeach · 08/07/2009 22:17

Well done tits!

Good luck onetiredmummy - how does bodyoptomise work online?

I had the school dinner today, there wasnt much choice so I ended up with chicken in gravy and some lemon sponge

Then DH and I went into town and ended up taking longer than we thought and the kids needed feeding so we went for an italian (even bigger )

Oh well................

Rialentless · 08/07/2009 22:22

that's a brilliant loss onetiredmummy

bad day here too fuzzy. started off so well (again). I haven't even had anything nice/worth cocking up for, just feeling really drained/rough/tired so hit the biscuits. I made a lovely SW friendly tea for the DCs (pork strips stir-fried with 5 spice, soy, garlic & honey, peas, baby corn and noodles) thinking I would have some too, and they ate the lot!!! (but they won't eat sausage and chips) A clean plate in our house is a miracle
(unless it's mine)

Fantastic Tits & onetiredmummy!! 10lb is a brilliant start!

Well, I did sleep in this morning... what's new, eh?

Had my WI, I lose 2lb!!! Just need another 0.5lb for my stone & half award

I had about 3 people say to me today that they thought I looked good...one of them being my FIL, who, as he listens to no-one, didn't even know I was doing SW, he just yelled across the yard at me this evening, "Hey Connie, I meant to say to you yesterday, you're looking good!!" aww bless... he's a pet.

Where's Prof?

Ria, your pork stir fry sounds yum.. seeing as I had WI tonight I always have a wee treat.. so DH made home made chips!! Not SW chips...ones done in the deep fryer with our own spuds And I had a toasted sandwich with ham, cheese & pineapple, with about 10 chips on the side... yummmmm...

Back to syns tomorrow though

ConnieComplaint · 08/07/2009 23:19

P/word this week is stock

Rialentless · 08/07/2009 23:23

nice connie, and well done on the loss

we had frozen pizza

I am wondering whem anyone will notice. I shift between days where I feel slimmer and days where I feel huge (I will be amazed if I aren't *week in the next couple of days - again). It would be nice if someone noticed. But have told BF, DH & parents, so maybe their opinion wouldn't mean as much? But then, if a random person said something, would I/you be offended? (there is a mum at school who looks fantastic now,and I would love to congratulate her (as someone in the same boat iyswim), but don't know her.)

TitsalinaBumsquash · 08/07/2009 23:52

Way to go Connie

We shall be svelte and slim in no time at all!

Had KFC unhealthy chicken for dinner, DS didn't finish CF clinic untill really late so i couldn't be arsed to cook, will be syn free tomorrow to compensate.

Great CF clinic though, really positive, DS's lungs are officially as healthy as a "normal" child (whatever one of them is!) I asked my questions and the Drs answered them well and it has totally renewed my faith in the NHS and Drs.

Im on a happy high!

ConnieComplaint · 09/07/2009 00:08

Brilliant Tits, that's fab about Ds! I dunno what a normal child is either... I have two who are anything but!! KFC once won't harm the diet! You'll make up for it the rest of wk anyway!

Ria, I don't think I would be offended if someone said I had lost weight.. but then my work colleague's wife lost a lot of weight & I was afraid to say that I noticed incase she was one of those people who would be offended. Then colleague said to me one day that his wife had lost weight & I confessed that I had noticed weeks before but didn't want to say incase I annoyed her... he said she wouldn't have been annoyed & that he'd pass it on

He's the same work colleague who said I had 'less of a rubber ring' round my middle now All said with a straight face & really seriously.........

Ria you seem to have you * a lot lately... (none of my business though!) but have you been checked out? Not only is it annoying never being prepared, but it can leave you totally pooped with no energy, can't be good for you.

Ohh I meant to say, a friend got this diet sheet that's given to obese heart patients to help them lose weight before bypass ops... if you stick rigidly to the plan you can lose anything from 7lb to 17lb in 1 week. This woman lost 10lb & the other lady lost 8lb! It's a strange diet though, more like a detox that would only ever be done for 1 week... one of the days you're allowed only 'healthy soup' (the recipe is a bit like free SW soup)& eight bananas!!!!!

TitsalinaBumsquash · 09/07/2009 08:30

Morning all

A good morning so far, I have had a big bowl of Strawbs, Raspbs and grapes and a fat Free Yoghurt.

Still not sure if its a Red or Grren day, i don't usually decide untill Lunch when i figure out if i want a Ham Sandwich or Pasta.

Anyone not set a target yet? I don't have one, i know how i want to look but don't know what wieght to aim for.
I set my mini target of a stone and im nearly there.
Im excepting of the fact that i will never be a size 8 but a 10 would be magical!

I will be happy when i can sit down and not have a huge gross roll of fat appear over my trousers!

Rialentless · 09/07/2009 08:52

morning

don't know if today will be good or bad. Am a bit anxious/pacinky this mornign as have appointment with the new CPN today. DH seems to be in an arse too (but it was his bloody turn to get up with the kids.)

I think I might be in a bit of an anti-DH mood today

connie - I have an implanon implant and it's all or nothing with *week. I maybe go a couple of months without (though that hasn't happened for a while), then it's more or less one week on one week off. It's a pain and I'm thinking of having it removed (especially because despite medical opinion I did put 2 stone on after I had it put in)

good luck everyone

OP posts:
ProfYaffle · 09/07/2009 09:29

Connie - I'm still here! I'm doing ok, lost another 1lb this week which means I've lost exactly 1.5 stones now which is fab and I'm comfortably a size 14. Still got another stone to go which feels like a mountain to climb atm.

Have to confess I've been doing Weight Watchers for the past few days. I felt the need to ring the changes, managed to have Pad Thai from the takeaway last night and still stayed within my points! I also thought it would force me to re-evalute my portion sizes.

I'm staying on it this week as an experiment to see how much I lose compared to Sw but I couldn't stay on it long term, too restrictive and diet like.

ProfYaffle · 09/07/2009 09:30

Sorry, forgot to say Ria, I had an implant and had problems with * as well, found I was bleeing more or less continuously. I had it removed in the end, hated it. Interestingly I also put 2 stone on!

Rialentless · 09/07/2009 15:08

I don't suppose the 2stone falls of if you have the thing removed?

so tired and drained today (due to meds), not doing well.

But I am wearing a size smaller pair of jeans

OP posts:
ProfYaffle · 09/07/2009 16:35

Only just spotted my typo, I was bleeding, not bleeing! 2 stone is far from dropping off, it's hanging on by it's fingernails, coming off 1lb by torturous 1lb.

Rialentless · 09/07/2009 18:00

oh, drat.

OP posts:
ProfYaffle · 09/07/2009 20:31

My thoughts exactly Ria. Mind you I don't help myself sometimes, I made some tiffin style traybake thingies for dd1's school fate on Saturday. So far I've accidently eaten 3! (small slices, not the whole tray!)
