New thread for us to waffle on and moan about baby fat, without boring the others...and hopefully drop a few pounds along the way!

I am currently 11 stone - 69.8 kg
Want to be pre preg weight of 59 kg, about 9 stone 4 i think.

If everyone posts stats maybe i can do a bisou style list. (don't post weights if you don't want to! amount to lose will do!)

Weigh in on Mondays?

Well done ladyT

No loss for me this week, I stayed the same though which is ok! At least its better than putting weight on!

Kayzr · 14/05/2009 08:35

Well done LadyT

I'm at WW tonight and expecting to put on. It's that time of the month and I have just been really hungry this week.

Kayzr · 15/05/2009 09:18

I'm right. I put 1lb on.

daisydora · 15/05/2009 20:18

I 'stayed the same' this week. Was a bit gutted I only needed to lose 0.5lb to reach a total loss of 1.5 stone. It might have been down to the night out with the girls and copious amounts of cheerfulness, then the Indian takeaway with copious amounts of cheerfulness and then last Sunday night just cheerfulness-a-plenty. Oh dear I do see a pattern forming here.....

Must try harder nest week.

daisydora · 15/05/2009 20:20

Oh and ladyt welcome home my love

sybilfaulty · 19/05/2009 10:47

hello all

Have been "away" for a couple of weeks but now back into it. Have lost another lb so 21 in total - approx half way ! I think perhaps 3 st overall may be undoable though *or at least un maintainable) so will try for another 1/2 dt then take it from there.

Well done to everyone who is still posting - at least we are all still thinking about our weight and eating habits. I'd have pit on loads if I'd BF for 5 months without thinking about weight as my appetite is herculean at the moment.

pmk1 · 19/05/2009 20:16

forgot to post yesterday - half kg up from holiday not bad I spose, considering the adult beverage count whilst away! back on the plan now......

Kayzr · 21/05/2009 17:52

I've lost 3lb!!!!!!!!!!! Just 0.5lb to go before I lose a stone since starting WW 6 weeks ago!!!!!

I am so very very happy.

SummerLightning · 21/05/2009 22:29

Kayz congrats congrats congrats! You are officially amazing!

daisydora · 23/05/2009 11:01

Kayz well done!!!

I lost another pound, so finally managed my stone and a half! Have set a target of another half stone by the time I go to Devon at the end of June.

Off for a power walk around the park this afternoon with the some people from WW. Problem is when I go I tell DD that mummy is going to lose her jelly-belly. She is now telling anyone who will listen she is going to the park with the jelly people

Kayzr · 28/05/2009 17:24

Just got back from WW!! I lost 1lb so that is my stone!!! I've lost 14.5lb in 7 weeks!!

SummerLightning · 28/05/2009 23:55

Daisy and Kayz, brilliant!
Are you feeling different? Are people commenting that you look thinner? Lots of people did to me and it was ace.
Kayz, I just can't wait til you can get back in your size 10 clothes and tell your MIL!

Kayzr · 29/05/2009 07:10

Loads of people have said it seems to have gone from my face. It does seem to be going from everywhere except my stomach.

Kayzr · 21/07/2009 20:45

Bleeping poop!! i haven't been to WW in about 2 months. i have put a bloody stone and a half on!!!

LadyThompson · 21/07/2009 20:49

Rrrrrrrrrrright, I am going to post here every week. Even if it is just me!

I see that when I last posted my weight on 13 May I was 84.4. Well, I am now 81.8. I know it's still very fat but I am moving downwards! Once I can edge into the 70s I will still feel fat, but more humanoid.

Come on girls! Back on the treadmill!

daisydora · 21/07/2009 20:52

I'm now 12 stone. So far have lost 23lb at ww, need to lose about another stone.

Am trying to 'run' everyday. Even bought some new trainers today. I am nowhere near Veggie's triathlete standard...but hey every little helps right!!!!

LadyThompson · 21/07/2009 20:55

I think you've done well DD. Every little DOES help - if you build up muscle, that burns up calories even when you are at rest!

sybilfaulty · 21/07/2009 22:53

I don't have scales at home and I haven't been to WW for some time but I am creeping back up again. My bras look like some nasty old hammocks for the Waltons. All of them. I am still BF but am also still fat.

Kayz, Daisy, LadyT, good to see you. Shall we form a small but brave band of brothers to motivate each other and try to get a bit smaller? I have got to do serious work (in a suit! Shit!) in about 6 weeks' time, so have something to aim for. My ultimate goal is to be able to do up my Topshop jacket and look OK in it. I bought it in a fit of enthusiasm on Ebay and it's lovely, but TS clothes are for the slim and, alas, the young so I've a way to go to get into it.

Ate a packet of ballerina biscuits in front of the TV tonight, so will start properly in th emorning. Am going to write down all my food (very very dull) in an attempt to curb my excesses. Or some of them .

No wine tonight but bad food. Must try harder.

EffiePerine · 22/07/2009 07:37

I'm in too - am about 66 kg which is 4 or 5 less than when I last posted (I think) but seem to be sticking again. Am back to work in October so my aim is to fit into some of my working clothes as I can't afford to buy new ones! And getting rid of the spare tyre would be great for the self-confidence.

tillyfernackerpants · 22/07/2009 07:48

I'm in again! So far I've lost a stone, but still a way to go!

pmk1 · 22/07/2009 08:40

Hello I'm happy to report I'm back to my pre-preg weight - (halfway between preg preg fat weight & pre preg thin weight)

The last bit came off when I stopped BF (not that I'm encouraging anyone to stop for a second, just know that eventually when you do - you could possibly find it easier to lose?)

Oh and carbs are the enemy ladies..... trust me, and no-one needs them for dinner..... For b'fast, yes and lunch, well if you must, but you don't need carbs to then go to sleep on.... (unless you are superVeg and doing a triathalon the next day )
Oh but cheerful carbs in moderation are ok at any time

Veggiemummy · 22/07/2009 09:10

Funnily I actually weighed myself this morning before breakfast. I'm 73.4kg I can't remember what I last weighed on here but I am now 3.4kg above my heights upper optimum weight 8.4kg above my target weight and 13.4kg above my dream weight! So still some way to go but at least if give myself little goals it helps break it up. I have to say though my main short term goal is not looking like a walrus in my tri suit, a little concerned about that as they don't really allow for much covering of wobbly bits, they don't have those bum cover skirts you can get on your cossies.

LadyThompson · 22/07/2009 09:41

But I am so much fatter than everyone!

It is just coming off so slooooooooowly and I know the insulin resistance makes it hard to lose weight, but eating very carefully and exercising and losing a fraction of weight at a time is so demoralising...

I would look pretty slim at 65kg but would feel at least human at 70, and I was 81.5 this morn so a long way to go....

tillyfernackerpants · 22/07/2009 10:07

Ladyt, I need to convert my weight to kg but I'm sure you're smaller than me. And its much better to lose weight little & often than it is in one big go, I think you're more likely to gain weight again. You're doing really well

Kayzr · 22/07/2009 10:35

Don't worry LadyT I am a lot lot bigger than you!
