New thread for us to waffle on and moan about baby fat, without boring the others...and hopefully drop a few pounds along the way!

I am currently 11 stone - 69.8 kg
Want to be pre preg weight of 59 kg, about 9 stone 4 i think.

If everyone posts stats maybe i can do a bisou style list. (don't post weights if you don't want to! amount to lose will do!)

Weigh in on Mondays?

This buggy fit sounds good but none round here.

tillyfernackerpants · 29/04/2009 08:19

Oh dear, 1/2lb on last night . I blame my mum & dad for taking us out for tea .

Onwards & upwards!

Veggiemummy · 29/04/2009 12:01

Anyone who has an itouch/iPhone I've downloaded the shapeup app from the app store and good so far tracks calories in and out. Has so far stopped me reaching for snacks and bikkies.

Kayzr · 30/04/2009 08:30

They have got this bike in the bike shop. It is so unfair because I have to walk past it to get anywhere!!

Kayzr · 30/04/2009 17:54

I have just returned from WW and have lost 3.5lb!!!! So 10lb in 4 weeks!!!! I am so pleased with myself!!

Veggiemummy · 30/04/2009 19:59

Mmm looks nice Kayz but the group set is Sora so not great, I think getting your dad to build you one is better. Do you have small hands? I find the shimano intergrated flight deck as they call it is a bit too big for my hands, see if your dad can find you one to fit your hands or tweek it so you can reach easily. I have campagnola on my road bike for this reason. You could have a look on eBay to see if you could find some cheaper ones. However I would say it would be better to have a little hardtail mountain bike then you can put bike seat on for the D and a tailgator to attach F to you on his own bike, then you can all ride together sometimes. Very good for keeping fit.

Veggiemummy · 01/05/2009 14:21

Hooray hooray I'm 78.2kg today!!!!!!!!!!! This calorie counting thing is paying dividends!!! I've only been doing it since Tuesday! Though I must admit when I first weighed myself this morning I was 78.6kg that was after a wee, then I needed to do a...erm...no 2 so out of interest I weighed myself again and well there you have it, one very heavy poo!

Nolda · 01/05/2009 18:42

Well done Veggie! I find that it helps to feed DS before weighing myself. Or is that a little desperate?

Veggiemummy · 01/05/2009 18:52

Nolda I've been considering taking my glasses and watch off for weigh in so no I don't think feeding a desperate.

daisydora · 01/05/2009 18:55

I only lost half a pound at WW this week so still not lost my 'holiday pound'

nolda I always try and feed DS before I leave for WW, whether he wants it or not. On one occasion when he was not in the mood and my boobs were a bit full I did express You never know it could have been half a pound's worth!

daisydora · 01/05/2009 18:56

oops done a LadyT.

Kayzr · 02/05/2009 09:10

I always take my jumper off for weighing in at WW!!

tillyfernackerpants · 05/05/2009 11:12

I'm feeling very virtuous, went for my first training run last night, did my yoga dvd this morning & have resisted the last easter egg in the fridge

We'll see if it pays off at weigh in tonight!

daisydora · 05/05/2009 12:49

Crossing everything for a loss tilly

My weigh in is on Thursday (I always feel like a prize fighter when I say 'weigh-in'). So I did a 45 min swim this morning and feeling V V V tired.

tillyfernackerpants · 05/05/2009 21:04

Woohoo, 1.5lb off. So not lightweight yet, probably more towards welterweight

Veggiemummy · 05/05/2009 22:53

Hooray Tilly.

SL you know how you did the calorie allowance calculator thing did you add 500 calories for BF? I'm allowed 1380 calories with this Itouch shape up thing but it doesn't allow for BF. It has a exercise section so I subtract 170 calories for what BF takes off me but I can't make it let me add 500 calories to my allowance. So far I'm keeping to the limit the shape up gives me but not sure if I'm over doing. I am hungry quite a lot, so don't want to be starving myself (though won't be fading away just yet).

SummerLightning · 06/05/2009 15:39

veggie, the calorie thing, I put in my weight and height, age, etc and it said something like 1300 calories for a totally sedentary me (for someone who did a lot of exercise, i think it was 2300?), so I just kind of thought I would aim for 1500 calories a day which would add a bit on for breastfeeding and exercise. But I think I was eating about 1800 some days, and I was still losing weight.

I haven't updated spreadsheet, sorry, nor am i weighing myself this week as I am having a break from dieting. Tonight is my wedding anniversary so we are going out and I am going to have 3 courses and get a bit squiffy.

Just back from WW and I have lost another 1.5lb!!

daisydora · 08/05/2009 12:54

I managed a record 3.5lbs off this week at WW! And this morning managed to squeeze into my size 12 jeans. I do have a bit(well a lot) of a muffin top, but the fastened all the same!

Well done to you to Kayz!

tillyfernackerpants · 08/05/2009 14:23

Well done to both of you

Veggiemummy · 08/05/2009 15:48

Hooray for the WW ladies!!!!!! I weighed myself this morning (after clearing my bowels) and am 77.3kg so 2lb or just under 1kg lost. I'm loving this calorie controlled thing!!! Plus cos it's on the itouch it's like playing a computer game.

SummerLightning · 10/05/2009 22:23

Veggie a bit TMI there! Though I confess if there is any chance of a number 2 I do the same, and it does make a difference!
Hooray for the weight loss, glad the calorie thing is working for you. How many calories are you sticking to?
I have updated the stats here
Everyone is doing so well!! Congrats on all that weight loss, in particular kayz, you are doing so well!! V jealous. I am still having a break at the moment so won't be weighing myself tomorrow. But may get back into it to lose the last bit in a week or two.
daisy great about the 3.5lbs. And the size 12 jeans!
