I've been doing WW for years but never achieved lifetime membership... all that money wasted (sob!) No, seriously, I'm going back to get rid of at least a stone & it would help to have a 'buddy'! Anyone?

Yay someone's back

I started off so well, lost 19lbs but have lost the plot now. I need to lose at least another 1.5 stone which ain't going to happen eating hot cross buns, Turkish delight bars and chocolate buttons (consumed all these today)

Help me get back on track please!

amazonianwoman · 25/03/2009 18:38

I've missed one weigh-in so far (lost 0.5lbs at the next weigh-in, ie after 2 weeks) and I'll miss this Friday's, hence why I've been pigging out (had THREE hot cross buns today)

I haven't lost more than a pound a week for weeks & weeks

sparklesandwine · 26/03/2009 12:55

does anyone have any idea how many points a cheese topped bread roll from tesco would be?

wickedwitchofwestfield · 27/03/2009 12:49

I managed to shift 10.5lbs! I'm so happy!!
I was hoping I'd lose some of the 6.5lb I put on last week so yay! I actually cried a bit, how lame lol.
Hope everyone else has a fab weekend xxx

Hi, I would love to join you. Have been doing WW for just over a year, had lost a total of 22lbs by Christmas, I have lost the plot recently and have gained around 6.5lbs. I want to lose what I have gained first, followed by a further stone. My weigh-in day is Monday. Wine is my downfall.

The answer to your question cariboo is 12 points.

Hi, I joined Weightwatchers on Thursday - havent been since 2003 when I lost 4 stone - I've only put back on half a stone so done ok to keep it off, i'd like to lose a stone though, all my clothes are too tight and I cant really afford new Summer clothes!

I wonder if anyone has had the same problem with me with the Weightwatchers website? I paid for the monthly pass (at the class on Thursday) and I was given the voucher with the access code on, I've been onto WW website (about 10000 times), typed in the access code press continue - and it just comes up with an error saying something like "connection disconnected". So I've emailed WW helpdesk and a 'really helpful' customer services person replied suggesting the fault is with my computer, and asked me to delete cookies and wipe my internet files - I did all this but it still wont let me get past the access code bit. So I cant work out points online, cant go on the forum (thank god for mumsnet!), and also the monthly pass code is only valid for 7 days so I dont know what to do! I'm really cross because I've obviously paid the £17.95 for the month but I'm not getting the full service so to speak. Has anyone else experienced problems? (btw I've also tried on a friends computer and hers didnt work either!).

Thanks, x

Hi stellsie I'm not sure if I can help you as I haven't come across this problem myself.

The fault is obviously not your computer, as you have tried it on another computer and it didn't work on there either. If I were I would get back in touch with WW informing them that you have done what they have asked you to do, you have also tried another computer, and this has still not resolved the issue. Could you not phone your Leader (number should be on the back of your membership card) and explain the situation to her, it may be that you need a different access code.
