I've been doing WW for years but never achieved lifetime membership... all that money wasted (sob!) No, seriously, I'm going back to get rid of at least a stone & it would help to have a 'buddy'! Anyone?

3 lbs!

fab website dilemma, will come in very handy for meals out. at all the curry ones though.

amazonianwoman · 30/01/2009 14:35

Is that your 3lbs furball?! I'm getting confused with all this new layout (am easily confused these days) Great news

Got weighed this morning - lost 1.5lbs which is OK considering I had a big weekend. Also realised that the leader can't do maths and I lost 4lbs last week, not 5, so have lost a total of 10.5lbs in three weeks

Only 2 stone to go

cariboo · 01/02/2009 18:40

I'm the OP & I'm a disgrace! I've been so bad at WW since I started. Too much wine, too much whisky (an ounce diluted with 2 pints of water so doesn't count - ha!), skipping meals to make up for luxurious lunches... groan.
Weigh in on Tues. If I haven't lost (likely), I'll die of shame! No exercise either as have been at home with cold-striken dd for 10 days. Woe is me! Help me, someone!

Like the sound of whisky + water It's always important to keep your fluid intake up!

You can get back on track Can you go for healthier salads, pasta etc if you have to do luxurious lunches? Or how about saying one day a week you can eat whatever you want, then do WW for the rest of the week? That's what I'm doing now - I'd go mad if I had to count points every day of the week...

cariboo · 02/02/2009 21:33

Yeah, counting points is a bore but is the only thing I've managed to get right since I started. I am (for once) totally honest & can see that my food choices are absolutely terrible. Need to think lean, think veg, think fruit. Portion size & snacking not a problem for me but night-time binging is. I can't sleep so I eat... who else does this?

OP posts:
mummytopebs · 02/02/2009 23:36

I dont night time binge, but have done a fair bit of bingeing this week x get weighed tomorrow and prob be the only one in the group to have prob put on x I like the idea of having one day off does this mean you can eat chocolate all day and not feel guilty? I wish x

Furball · 03/02/2009 06:10

I've struggled this week not gone mad but just haven't written it all done and worked out the points. just thought thats x amount in my head and I' bound to have under estimated.

I'm hoping to have lost 1/2 lb at least. though my scales say not.

cariboo · 03/02/2009 12:15

I lost 1.1kg! Wow!

OP posts:
Furball · 03/02/2009 13:31

blimey that brillant!

Dior · 03/02/2009 13:33

Well done Cariboo - that's about 2.5lbs in 'old money'

sparklesandwine · 03/02/2009 14:51

just found you all...got lost in the new layout!

i lost 1.5lbs last week

thing is i can't go this week which is fatal as i know i'm being crap this week because i don't have to go

Furball · 05/02/2009 07:14

put on a half [booooo!] it's because I didn't track. Went to a friends last night and ate my body weight in crisps and snacks [yummy!]

Back in the saddle today - I need to lose 2 lbs this week as I set a challenge with my neighbour, we both need that for our 1/2 stone.

Dior · 05/02/2009 10:11

I weighed at Rosemary Conley, but did Core Plan (joined RC for a mental boost but found myself shaky on the plan, so went back to Core. However, had paid for 6 weeks and so thought I might as well weigh there and do the exercise).

Anyway...lost 3lbs.

sparklesandwine · 05/02/2009 15:06

well done!

i'm not going tonight too much snow today

i just hope i can keep on track this week....

amazonianwoman · 06/02/2009 14:29

Well done cariboo, dior & sparkles

Lost another 1.5lbs today, aiming for 1st stone next week!

cariboo · 06/02/2009 14:42

Ah yes! Stones. And shillings. And miles. And driving on the "wrong" side of the road... v. quaint

When I lived in London, I remember I weighed 8st. Wow. Those were the days.

hello all would like to join in please as have been stuck at the same weight since before Christmas and have missed a few WW meetings for various reasons

next one is on Wednesday really must focus again would like to drop a stone

Furball · 06/02/2009 19:23

just muck in sfx - good luck with your stone

I had my tea on a bed of cauliflower as I didn't want to waste points on rice.

Furball · 07/02/2009 15:21

bought WW frozen chocolate eclairs - at 1 1/2 points are a right bargain. very scrummy.
