I've been doing WW for years but never achieved lifetime membership... all that money wasted (sob!) No, seriously, I'm going back to get rid of at least a stone & it would help to have a 'buddy'! Anyone?

DS and DH had omelette with baked potato and salad for lunch - I just had the pot and salad as couldn't bear to waste 3 points on some eggs

I've got better things for them than that.

gonaenodaethat · 24/01/2009 15:49

Can I join in too please? I joined on Monday and have around 2 stones to lose. Finding it reasonably easy to follow and am hopeful may have done well.
Well done on all the fantastic losses so far.

nearly keeled over on making lunch (minced beef, red lentils, grated carrot and parsnip etc) that the mince alone was 7 points 7! crikey, it's enough to turn me into a vegetarian

sparklesandwine · 25/01/2009 21:38

furball i am veggie and it doesn't make that much difference!!

i only lost 1 lb this week.....maybe it was all the wine...

creme eggs are only 4 points - much better value than minced beef

mummytopebs · 25/01/2009 23:22

Very interesting about cream eggs, are you sure?

Over the moon if that is right, i was practically dribbling in the supermarket looking at them the other day x

Furball · 26/01/2009 06:43

according to my little chart that you look up the values

gonaenodaethat · 26/01/2009 09:33

I have to say that news about the creme eggs and square crisps has cheered me up no end!

It's my first weigh in today. Have been good but did have a Burns Supper last night. Haggis is NOT good for weightwatching.

Anyway, we'll see...

gonaenodaethat · 26/01/2009 12:53

6 off! wahay.

Furball · 26/01/2009 14:17

Well done Dilemma. It's a good feeling when they say you've lost.

I suspect I might've been a bit dehydrated (wine last night) so will have to try not to be complacement this week. A gain is so bad for my motivation.

amazonianwoman · 26/01/2009 16:16

Fantastic too Dilemma

SybilFaulty · 26/01/2009 16:24

Congratulations on some fantastic losses so far. Amazonianwoman - amazing, well done.

Could I join you please? I joined WW last monday as I had a baby 8 weeks ago and was shocked to find that I am the fattest I have ever been! I need to lose nearly 3 stone but fortunately am thikning in small 1/2 stone chunks. I lost 4.5lb this week. Beginner's luck.

I get a whopping 31 points as a. I am a lardy one and b, I am fully BF my son which gets you 10 extras automatically.

Looking forward to losing the lard with you.

SybilFaulty · 26/01/2009 16:27

sorry, baby brain strikes again. Well done amazonianwoman for the jeans and dilemma for the lbs.

Sorry about that .

sparklesandwine · 26/01/2009 16:55

i managed to fit in a pair of jeans that i haven't fit into for a while today

although i don't think i've lost weight more changed shape

but i'm pleased!!

Well done to all those who have lost lbs....floaty summer dresses here we come!!

you need to make smaller goals, othrwise you will only see a long road ahead. i usually go by your half stones, stones and then the whole stone number on the scales and half stone number or wherever order that makes it into that list. Then it's usually only a few pounds or so til you've achieved your next goal.

sparklesandwine · 27/01/2009 18:24

aaaaarrrrggggghhhhhh help me

i feel really snacky and need to eat crap.....help!

what do you all eat when you need to snack?

Furball · 27/01/2009 18:34

for a snack I have 1 1/2 oz of shreddies with hot milk - filling and comforting, (2.5 points) I also have a points worth of sugar on the top.

much better than a teeny tiny piece of ww cake slice

morrisons have multipack ww snacks at 99p atm. I didn't buy any as I struggle to have only one bag

mummytopebs · 27/01/2009 22:24

just had wi and didnt lose anything, had a sickness bug for three days and couldnt eat anything so thought i would have lost, leader said its cos your body thinks its starving so stores fat!
