I've been doing WW for years but never achieved lifetime membership... all that money wasted (sob!) No, seriously, I'm going back to get rid of at least a stone & it would help to have a 'buddy'! Anyone?

amazonianwoman · 19/01/2009 13:31

Hope you sort it, kitkat would've been my stress relief too

Feeling fine and feeling even more determined because the scales are going in the right direction

Could murder some Cadburys fruit & nut though...

Furball · 20/01/2009 07:13

how are we all doing?

I've stuck to it like glue - course I couldn't help but jump on the scales and I've lost 1 lb - hope it accumlates to another by wednesday lunchtime!

I can also recommend as well as the ww apple slices - the date and walnut slices - [licky the lips]. as are the individually wrapped belgian chocolate cake/bisicuit things.[double licky the lips]

have decided if hungry to have a bowl of shreddies for 2 1/2 points as thats quick and filling.

amazonianwoman · 20/01/2009 09:45

Doing well apart from blip last Friday.

I'm actually wearing a pair of jeans today that I haven't even been able to fasten for about 6 months

sparklesandwine · 20/01/2009 13:43

mummytopebs did you manage to sort it out?

I had a really snacky day yesterday

I have been ok though and hope i will loose a couple of lb's for the first weigh in, need to be better from now until thursday (apart from the gingerbread man i just finished off for DS2 )

sparklesandwine · 20/01/2009 15:53

moral support i can do madeindevon, but i seriously don't excerise so can't do that one i'm afraid!

Furball · 20/01/2009 16:02

Hi madeindeon - I try to get out to do 4km 3 x a week but with this weather have to really force myself to go twice atm.

Mine · 20/01/2009 19:27

hi everyone, things are going ok for me and DH. He is really sticking to it and so am i. Although he now thinks he is the
font of all WW knowledge
Its great though as we both support each other.

Madeindevon... i've just started running.. i've been doing a 20min program that will work me up to eventually running 10k. I have never run properly before in my life (except 30 yards for the bus!), so this is a real challenge for me. I'm getting better each week which is good.

I need some recipe inspiration..... i'm getting a bit bored of all the cooking at the moment (completely unlike me!)

Furball · 20/01/2009 20:22

oh yes -recipe inspiration, I'm in need too.

sparklesandwine · 21/01/2009 10:46

oh dear....yesterday was a bad day! i had 2 cheese scones from the bakers and chip shop chips

i need to get back on track today or i'll be the only person to weigh in on their first week and put on weight!!

mummytopebs · 21/01/2009 11:56

Sparklesandwine all sorted had to ring the head office who have sorted it out for me x

I lost another 3lb so am over the moon, i to am getting a bit bored of my own cooking so recipes would be good, our leader type person last night suggested ww half bake bread buns, slit them and rub with garlic and spray a little spray oil on and then spread low fat laughing cow over it and chopped toms for like a garlicy pizza type snack. yummmmmm x

amazonianwoman · 21/01/2009 12:14

MTP - 3lbs, that's fantastic!

Will think of some recipes later when DS is asleep & I've got more time.

sparklesandwine · 21/01/2009 13:06

thats fab MTP, thats 6lb so far isn't it? Well Done

i've just been invited to a good friends 40th at the end of feb, i haven't seen her for nearly 3 yrs as she lives far from me, so this is a good incentive for me to keep on track so i can get into a nice dress for the party

Furball · 21/01/2009 14:08

lost 2 1/2lbs!

weight included a massoove jacket potato with smoked salmon and cream cheese because I ate before I went.

sparklesandwine · 21/01/2009 15:17

thats really great, well done!

i've just made a sweet potato and butternut squash soup, and also a prepared a veggie casserole for tea later. hopefully that will prevent me from snacking too much today!

i have my weigh in tomorrow night at 7pm [worried]

amazonianwoman · 21/01/2009 16:29

Well done furball

amazonianwoman · 22/01/2009 14:27

Oh poo, just doing some tidying and found a massive chocolate santa. Ate it all then worked out the points.

8!!!!

Guess I'll be having salad for dinner then

Furball · 22/01/2009 15:14

oh dear amazonion - you could steal 2 point from tomorrow and 2 from saturday if that'll help you?

amazonianwoman · 22/01/2009 21:43

Err, except I'm out tomorrow night eating & drinking, then staying with friends Sat/Sun (more drinking & eating)!

Have actually managed to stay within points limit today. That's one of the benefits of being so fat - 24 pts a day

amazonianwoman · 23/01/2009 13:40

Can't believe it - I've lost another 5lbs!!

Mine · 23/01/2009 23:05

WOW... 5lbs in one week.... thats amazing!!
Well done Amazonian
