Well, we've all had a busy weekend haven't we?

I've been very naughty - but it has been DH's birthday so I'm letting myself off - and I will make up for it in the week. Honest I will.

Fanella · 30/06/2008 15:10

Where's everyone gone? Have you all gone and started a new thread without me?

VictorianSqualor · 30/06/2008 18:15

I'm still here!
I had a terrible weekend.
I drank friday and saturday and then went to a festival yesterday so I had a fry-up in the morning about 10cans of beer and a burger
BUT to get to the festival we walked 2 miles, and as I was on ym feet all day I probably worked off some of those calories.
I didn't go over my calories friday or saturday though and I did more than my recc'd amount of exercise so hopefully it won't have fucked me up too much!
(I had a sneaky weigh in the other day and noticed I'd lost 2lbs!)

BecauseImWorthIt · 30/06/2008 18:19

Have had a lovely weekend, but didn't manage to make it alcohol free. I've decided not to beat myself up about it, and be pleased with myself for (last week) being alcohol free for 3 of those days. Better than nothing!

Food has been fine all weekend (actually better than normal).

But TOM now, which always makes its own contribution to the scales!

LivingLaVidaLurker2 · 01/07/2008 07:35

Hi there - I'm still here, but feeling despondent due to major biscuit binge yesterday (am pre-menstrual, I wonder if that makes a difference. No, I can't really blame that....) Well, today is a new day, so we can all start afresh.

By the way, oopsyoopsydaisy - congratulations. How are you feeling today? (Though I hope you're not feeling the need to read this thread anymore. Pregnancy is perfect excuse to indulge!

Fanella · 01/07/2008 08:19

Just before and during AF is not a time to be dieting imo, have a break..

I had a bad day yesterday and don't even have AF or it's approach to blame it on.

I will do much better today. So far:

30g muesli
oaty drink
small handful of raisins
camomile honey and vanilla tea.

Planning to have ryvita and a small salad for lunch, then a small portion of pesto pasta with mushrooms and celery for tea. Plus lots of water and exercise of course!

I was planning to sign up to nutracheck for 3 months as my free trial runs out tonight. I had to cancel my debit card last night though as I thought I'd lost it. I found it later in another section of my purse

Have a good day all!

BecauseImWorthIt · 01/07/2008 08:34

Yesterday:

breakfast - scrambled eggs and bacon
lunch - 1 hard boiled egg, coleslaw (home-made so I know exactly what was in it!, green beans and roasted peppers
dinner - chilli, on a bed of thinly sliced, boiled white cabbage, with cheese, sour cream and salsa (again, home-made so I know there was nothing sugary in it)

I also had a Cadbury Highlights bar (4g carbs) and, interestingly, although this used to be my LC snack of choice, I didn't really enjoy it. Tasted far too sweet and not chocolately/cocaey enough.

No alcohol.

BecauseImWorthIt · 10/07/2008 16:29

It has all gone very quiet on here!

Have you all given up or what?

I'm 3lbs down, so now reporting in at 9 stone 9. big

MsDemeanor · 10/07/2008 16:34

No bread. Only fish or chicken and veg at night. Lots of water.

Fanella · 10/07/2008 16:36

I'm here! thread dropped off my threads I'm on and I never got round to searching for it again.

Well done at 3lb BIWI!

I'm not doing so well - AF at the moment plus full of a stinking cold so I'm tempted to reach for the comfort food a bit, although trying to be good. I haven't been exercising as much either due to miserable cold and pulling a muscle in my calf which hurt like hell.

The whiskey and honey in my nightly hot toddies will be having an effect too .

It's weigh day tomorrow. I'm not expecting to have lost anything but will be over the moon if I've at least managed to maintain. Here's hoping...

BecauseImWorthIt · 10/07/2008 19:49

Oh yes, it's hard with AF and a cold and a pulled muscle on top of that.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Monkeytrousers · 10/07/2008 19:55

Go low carb low fat. Eat fruit. the scarsdale diet

Monkeytrousers · 10/07/2008 19:57

sorry, I see the op has been well and truely answered...

LivingLaVidaLurker2 · 10/07/2008 21:11

I'm here, but bigger than before. One delicious curry was my downfall.

Never mind though. Back on the straight and narrow now.

Great news, BIWI. I am ! Sorry you're feeling rough Fanella. I'd take a break from the scales if I were you and concentrate on feeling better.

BecauseImWorthIt · 10/07/2008 22:04

Try doing the curry next time without the rice/poppadom/naan!

It's takeaway night tomorrow here, so I will be indulging, although keeping the carbs down as much as possible in this way.

Fanella · 11/07/2008 08:08

Weigh day did not go that well!

but only 1lb on, which I'm not too stressed about. I think I've eaten quite well so it just goes to show how important even a little bit of exercise is.

Tomorrow is another day and all that. I've still got 4 weeks to my holiday.

Thanks LLVL2, still feeling horrible, but it's nearly the weekend and I'll be able to have a rest. Don't stress about the curry - you've been doing well and you're allowed the odd blip.

GTG and get ready for work [would rather be at home watching the telly emoticon]

BecauseImWorthIt · 11/07/2008 08:12

Only a pound though - put it behind you and just carry on. Drink plenty of water and that might help you!

Fanella · 13/07/2008 08:47

Thanks BIWI,

I've kind of let myself off this weekend. I have started walking again, and spent lots of time in the garden yesterday digging and shovelling and painting fences. I've been very naughty with food though so I'm going to do much better today.

How's it going with everyone else?

dinny · 13/07/2008 22:10

I'm here too! Totally forgot about this thread! Found out I was pregnant unexpectedly two weeks ago!! ARGH! So, will return to this thread in 9 months' time!! Really going to try and eat healthily this time round though!!! x
